I have hp 1280 A3 Inkjet printer . When I give print it pick up paper and out the blank paper without printing . a4 printing is ok. But A3 Is majour problem

Delete the printer and install the printer again with drivers for 1220c. This solution actually worked when i faced the same scenario.

Run it in "Win XP compatibility" mode: right-click on the icon -> properties -> compatibility then either 'run compatibility troubleshooter' or just point out in which mode to run

Hey there, Try to download this program from HPHP Print and Scan Doctorand run it. Hopefully it will detect the right drivers to install for you and download them.

A common issue with HP ink jet printers is the encoder strip gets dirt or ink on it. It is a plastic strip that has vertical lines all across it. The strip goes from one side to the other. You can clean it with an alcohol swab.

When I printed powerpoint documents on a hp deskjet 1280 it failed to print lines. I found that this problem could be solved by changing the transparency attribute of the line to 50%. The transparency attribute of a line or shape can be found by clicking on the sequence format/shape-outline/more-outline-colours/transparency at the top of the screen

your printer is A4 Size printer it will not print A3 size

if you fill to print A3 go to HP site and support page find your solution

Might be cartridges are clogged,go to printer properties, perform clean nozzles, check quality.. repeat 2-3 times to get good quality, if you are not satisfied, replace cartridge/s

please check page set up and put paper properly on the tray

Did you install the driver before attaching the printer??? If not, do so.
