Thanks for using Fixya.
First of all check that there are no pending documents in your printer's tray.

When your printer is connected to your computer then at the right hand bottom of the screen (where time is displayed), you will see a printer's icon. Click on it and if you see a list of documents then cancel them all. Also see that the printing process is not paused.

Maybe you should replace the TRANSFER ROLLER.

Upgrade your ram and clean the registry. this will fix your problem, generally almost all this problem's related to Memory, so first upgrade your Ram to at leat 512, i recommend 1 Gb. Good luck.

may need to replace catridges or clean print heads

two reason in paperjam 1200 series printer
one some senser not working so remove back sight cover and clean dust help with air blower.
and paper pick roller is not working
first you remove paper pick roller
and change direction of paper pick roller
means change direction means just opposite site use.
i think solve your problem.

You can tell what part of the printer is the culprit by measuring the distance between the defects. I will attach a link to the repetative defects page for your printer. Make sure you look at the one for the 1200 and not the 1100

it may be you have a virus in your computer

there are some possibilities for this problem. i will explain it. 1) First of all check out if the toner is full ,half or near to empty. There is no exact procedure to check the powder left in the toner without opening the toner.but in one toner there comes about near to 1500 copies.if you have got about 1200 to 1300 copies.then its quite possible that the power left is near to empty so the streaks comes on the paper due to less powder left.many times in this case removing and shaking the toner then reinserting the toner again and checking the printout helps. 2) But if you are sure that toner is not empty then other possibility is.in the toner cartridge there is a aluminium drum.its easily seen in the cartridge.once you remove the cartridge. if that drum is got very much used then due to that drum the streaks appear.fox example.if the drum is new the print is very dark.if the drum gets old the print gets very light or with streaks or faded print. 3) Now if drum and toner powder both are proper and still the problem then its the fault in the printer.in your printer there is some toner powder got spilled out on the inner parts from where the printing paper passes.so when the paper passes from the part where the powder is fallen or got collected then the streaks comes.in this case the printer needs internal cleaning and servicing. 4) but in some cases it has been noticed that internal powder of the toner becomes moist and very hard to come out from the toner for printing.in this case either toner needs to be refilled or toner needs to be replaced.you can get the toner refilled from local cartridge refilling store or local stationery shops dealing in cartridge refillings.The cartridge refilling shops also have the same printer for checking the cartridge.so at the refilling shop it will be confirmed whether the fault is in cartridge or printer.

I guess you maust replace your Suser Assembly, or at least regrease the fuser roll.
try to go to service center , or download the service manual from the internet

May b your printer needs some servicing.
The black line may be caused by a faulty or used fusing film or fuser roller.

"@PJ" commands, if formatted correctly should be parsed, used and discarded by the printer code.

More than likely, the "Escape" command to @PJL mode is busted.

Can you create a "Print to File" document and send it to me at [email protected]. I'll be able to read it and possibly fix the file for you.

check the usb cable or its port ,or try print a test page from the printer by pressing front pannel button 5 second and release. if printng a test pasge its ok the printer

You cannot do it -- when you request '3' copies, the computer sends 3 times as much text & commands to the printer. So, the printer cannot tell when the 2nd and 3rd copy begins.

the problem of the 1200 is that it is not picking paper but i have solve the problem thank.


but the 4300n laserjet iks the printer that did not display in the control panel
but i surpect the logic board and the upper board can you tell me your idear about the printer 4300n laserjet am waiting
