I could not find a scanner error 2. But frequently the scanners in these units require replacement. Unless you have it under maintenance contract the cost of repairs could be prohibitive in a unit this old. 5 = CalLabelFind. Calibration problem. If powering it off and on doesn't fix it, the scanner assembly will have to be replaced

It is looking for a document to scan. Either a copy job was started and interrupted or the device is not sensing a document in the adf. If scanning, ensure document is flushed and is fully inserted. If not scanning, cancel all jobs. If scanning and document is flush and fully inserted, check sensor/flag which may need replacement if all else is good.

remove the scanner glass & remove the scanner glass alignment black & white sticker clean it with white cotton white should be bright white then fix the same with the same position & try upgrade the firmware

Go to the file, select print, in print dial box,select properties.,in properties select effects., there you can see the water marks, usually it will be in none., U can edit or use exist mark..

go to www.hp.com click on support and Drivers, choose u r Operating System and downloaded it.

disconnect the printer cable (USB Cable / Data Cable)
and swich off and on the printer...... it will solve the problem

Was printer trying to picking up the paper,if yes check the pick up roller, if not open back cover check solenoid acting or not, if not acting shoot the obstruction.

52 Scanner Error
The all-in-one has experienced an internal hardware error.

1. Turn off the power by using the power switch, and then wait at least 30 seconds.
2. If a surge protector is being used, remove it. Plug the all-in-one directly into the wall socket.
3. Check the FFC connection between the formatter and the scanner.
NOTE Do not bend or fold the FFCs during the removal or reinstallation process.
4. Try connecting the product to a different power source or surge protector.
5. Turn on the power and wait for the all-in one to initialize.
6. If the error persists, replace the laser scanner assembly.

Maybe the printer has a problem in the paper sensor is not easy becase you need a technician.
