Its not a net work printer, they how you are connected this printer for all computers & laptops?. It might be connected to one system from there its shared..right. In this situation if any computer fired print command it has to reach the local computer where printer connected. If the local computer shut down, printer unable to print due to no print command.. or else if any net work related issue with in your systems you wont get prints.. Find out were you are stuck. If printer is printing well from the local system you cannot suspect the printer. Just you start from local system, then check in all systems. Pl get back to us for further remedies..best of luck..

Through printing or copying?Copying: Increase dark in quality..Printing: check in printer preferences,remove check mark at economy mode..check..For Tech guys only: Remove adf unit, take out laser scanner unit, clean reflecting mirror & motor reflector gently with ear buds..fix it back..check..quality..

Press MENU and then press 2.Press < or > to select LOCATION, then press 'check mark'Press < or > until correct LOCATION appears. Then press 'check mark'Press 1 to confirm. The printer will now power cycle.

Turn off the printer wait 2 minutes, then switch on check. up date firmware, replace formatter assm.

Turn off the printer press and hold 5 & * switch on the printer when permanent storage inti displayed on screen release the buttons,wait till ready mode comes.

Calibrate required for Color laser printers only, not for mono laser printers..

if the wireless blue light is blinking, it means it's not connected to the router or it's not communicating with it.If wireless blue light is solid ,it means it's connected to the network.
you will need to reconnect the printer to the network by using a USB cable.it will configure the wireless connection.

1. to start the installation ,click on the start button on the computer
2. click on programs or all programs depending on the operating system on the computer
3. look for the HP folder and then left-click on it
4. inside the HP folder,left-click on DESKJET 3050a or DESKJET 3050 series
5. inside the DESKJET 3050 folder, left-click on product setup and software
6. left-click on connect a new printer
7. it will open up a page with options on how to connect the printer
8. select wireless and then hit next
9. if you are prompted to connect the usb ,please connect it
10. if it asks you whether printer is connected to the network,select no
11. click on next
12. if usb is already plugged in,tick the box that says it's already plugged in
13. hit next
14. wait for the prompt to unplug the cable
15. try printing wirelessly

Delete all stored messages from the memory, try it ...

Detach the USB cable,un install the drivers,run the CD,connect the cable when connecting dialbox appears,finish it up.. ckeck...

This is non network printer, you can't print just like a network printer , but you can install the printer in local system and share it & install the drivers in desired systems through local system where printer was connected. It will work like a network printer but scanning is not possible to other systems except local system.And one more drawback is your won't get print, if local system is switched off..

You nee the complete driver for the printer....the scanner driver and software must not be loaded..try to reinstall the driver with the scanner driver should work than......keep me posted if you still have the problem

Detach optical scanner cable,belt take out scan assm (which is moving while scanning), hold it carefully, remove choke board(A small board under the unit to supply the power to florescent lamp), remove the upper cover, clean reflecting glasses fixes in the unit with ear buds gently, fix it back carefully, check,..see the snap shot of ccd..
