Resetting the product may help with some false error messages. Press power button to turn printer off, unplug the power cord, wait a few seconds, plug it back in, press power button to turn printer back on. Any luck?

uninstall the existing printer drivers first before you try a reinstall.

there should be a menu options with a readout of specs of the machine.

Yty reinstalling the printer driver, if that doesn't work than uninstall fom control panel and reonsall software for printer. First try turning it off then back on. This will reconfigure the printer.
