Won't transmit

First I would check the interference code on both radios to see if it is set the same. It is possible you have one set to zero and the other set to another number. This would cause the problem you describe. The interference eliminator is designed to block out transmissions from radios whose settings do not match it.

If all your settings are identical, and you have only 2 radios, it is not possible to tell which one has the problem. You either have one with no transmit or one with no receive. The only way to tell which you have is to get a 3rd radio involved, set to the same settings.

Hello I just bought a Motorola 53725 SLK Headset

Two things to check. Make certain you are plugging in the headset with the radio shut OFF. Also be certain the headset is plugged in all the way. You should feel a slight click when it is seated properly.

If the headset has an in-line PTT, don't alternate between it and the one on the radio. If there is no in-line PTT, use the PTT on the radio unless you have your radio set for VOX.

If using VOX mode, do not touch the PTT at all once you turn the radio on. One thing to keep in mind if using VOX, the receiver will pick up any ambient noise around you and think it is voice and keep your radio locked into transmit. Vox only works well in a somewhat quiet environment.

I've probably given you more info than needed, but wanted to cover all the bases.

One of the handset of fv200 is not responding

Check your programming to be certain they are set identically. If this checks out, you can try swapping the batteries and see if the problem is a power problem. If this does not solve the problem then you have a defective radio.

Unit won't stop changing channels

Your radio will recall the last setting you were on when you shut the radio off. So when you turn it on again, it will be in the same mode.

Your radio is stuck in scan mode, either by being programmed by the user that way, or by the button being stuck. Most-likely it is from someone playing with the unit and turning on scan. On some Motorola models scan is depicted by a little button with a Z on it. If this is the case press the Z button and then turn the radio off. When you turn it back on you should be good to go.

Otherwise, Get out your owners manual and look for directions on shutting off scan, or resetting the radio to the factory default settings. If you do not have the manual, do a quick google search for your radio model and the words "user manual". If you don't find one, post here again, and some of us will try to locate one for you.

What kind a charger i

The FV200AA, as indicated by the AA, is the AA battery version of the radio, and does have a charger. If you are using rechargeable AA batteries you will need to charge them separate from the radio in the appropriate charger.

My Binatone Marina 300 Walkie

Hello andy300,

Does the "RX" indicator show on the LCD screen constantly?

This radio does have a monitor function which disables the squelch control, allowing the user to listen to weak signals on the channel. Enabling this function in absence of any signals will cause the user to hear any background static or noise on the channel. You enable this function by pressing Menu + Up at the same time and disable the function by pressing Menu.

I assume that you are familiar with this function from the fact that you mention these keystrokes have no affect on the radio's behavior.

It is possible that the area you are using the radios in / channel you are using them on has a very high noise level. If the noise level is higher then the radio's automatic squelch threshold, then you would hear constant static, hiss, or white noise and the receive ("RX") indicator would show a constant signal. A local noise level can be caused by atmospheric conditions or very busy nearby adjacent-channel radio signals.

Try operating the radios on a different channel and see if that helps. If it is practical, you might try operating the radios in a different local area just to see if that has any effect at all. This would help you determine if the problem was a local one specific to the area you are operating in.

If it is local area related you might consider switching to a different model of radio that includes a Continuous Coded Squelch System (CTCSS) function (called "privacy codes" or "quiet tones" by come manufacturers. This function does not appear to be included in the model you are using and can help keep your radios silent unless you receive a call from another radio using the exact same privacy code.

If the problem persists regardless of channel or area, then you might have a problem with the radio that would require factory service.

Hope this helps. Best regards!
Ken

One of both Devices doesn't receive

Hola
Suerte!!
