The date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display this data. To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. Depending on the program and printer you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back.

Driver for EX-Z500

You don't need a driver. The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

I have a casio ex

The EX-Z500 works with MMC and SD cards. While SDHC cards will fit into the slot, they are electronically incompatible and will not work with this camera.

I have an Exilim EX

The problem is that your camera will only read SD cards, not SDHC cards, I checked its specification. You found your 256Mb card too small and bought a replacement, not noticing that it was SDHC. The new card doesn't work, not because it or the camera is broken, but because it's not compatible.

Cards up to 2Gb are generally SD. Cards over 8Gb have to be SDHC. 4Gb cards can be either SD or SDHC, but are almost always SDHC because they're cheaper. I'm willing to bet that the 4Gb card you got is actually SDHC because 4Gb SD cards are so rare that I've even seen a guru on this site claim they don't exist. I did own one once, but it was very expensive and turned out to be so unreliable that I had to return it.

Your solution is to go find a 2Gb card, and be extra sure that it doesn't say "SDHC" on it. (If it does, it probably means that they made a 4Gb card, but there were some error locations and so they disabled half of it and packaged it as a cheap-brand 2Gb.)

Hi can you tell me how to get my camera to

Is it a SD card, or a SDHC (High Capacity) card of more than 8GB? Because the EX-Z500 natively does not support Large-SDHC.

Power off the camera. Press and keep pressed the MENU key, and while doing this, turn on the camera via the ON button. Press the MENU key until the firmware revision is displayed. I suspect you will see V1.01 or V1.00.

And Large-SDHC support is only present in release V1.02 of the Z500 firmware.

You should have the firmware updater-checker software; if not, you can find it on Casio website:

http://support.casio.com/download.php?rgn=4&cid=001&pid=170

This should fix it up. Let me know if it works.

Sd memory card 4gb does not work why?

The little sliding in connection pieces could be broken or cracked or the memory stick could be genirec and is not compatible with your camera type.
