Hi Dries. This is what i have found on the internet. First up I would be checking the xtals for "dry joints" then the caps around the vco area. I have had problems with drift BUT after trial and error found a couple of cheap electrolitics leaking. Try re-soldering the xtals for a start. If it was not plugged in when you spilled on it, then you "might" revive it by rubbing clean water through it and drying it thoroughly. If you can remove side panels, blow it out with compressed air first. Then dry it someplace with light air flow (I use our furnace room) for a few days. Then in an air tight container with some rice to absorb moisture for a few days to a week. Then cross your fingers and try it. I revived a Motorola pager that was in Salt Water for a few days this way - and it worked! But at the slightest sound of a snap, (Arcing) stop immediately. It is likely toast but may respond to more drying. Patience is your friend in this effort.
