It works only one speaker !

The cable will run from the PC to the first speaker, then from the first speak to the second speaker. If the second/furthest speaker is the one that doesn't work, it is possible that the connection between the two speakers is bad. Check the cable for damage.
If the first speaker/closest speak to the PC or the one connected directly to the PC is the one not working, the problem is like your jack. Check to make sure the cable is fully seated and that the speaker jack is not loose. Run Windows Update and check for audio hardware driver updates as well.

No sound from Subwoofer. Traced fault to subwoofer

You can't get an original part unless you find a system on eBay or somewhere similar and take the part from it. Computer companies buy these speaker systems from other manufacturers, and treat them as just one big part. Under warranty they simply replace the entire unit. No components are offered (other than the wall-wart AC adapters when used). I went through this with Compaq/HP and Dell when I worked in service for a big retailer. Most people just buy a new system when theirs goes bad out of warranty.

Now, if you're like me (and I know you are since you're asking), you don't like to throw anything away if it can be fixed. Since this is the subwoofer, it's probably going to be on the floor or otherwise out of sight. So another possible repair is to get a replacement control with the same value as the original, solder some leads onto it, tack them to the pcb pads of the original, and just let the replacement hang out the hole where the original came through. Or you can be a little more ambitious and mount the new control properly, then wire it to the pcb.

Good luck in the repair, and thanks for using Fixya!

No Audio Device?

Check in hardware manager that the audio system has been installed and is working. If it does not show in hardware manager, check in the system BIOS that the audio system is turned on. If turning on the audio system does not work, uninstall any drivers for the audio system and re-install the correct drivers. If you are using Windows XP, try and get the update software to install the updated drivers for you otherwise, go to the Dell website, input the PC's model and revision numbers and download the drivers from there.

Where can I obtain service manual for the Dell

Ahh..there is no "service" manual for your computer, but there is an owners manual..it can be downloaded directly from Dells help and support pages

Your best bet would be to find a diagram of the motherboard, but your not likely to find a circuit diagram of the board, that info is usually not released to the general public

Dell studio xps no sound will come out of the

I assume you mean the internal speakers.

First thing I would try is hooking up a set of headphones. If you can hear sounds thru the headphones then there could be an issue with the headphone jack. (the jack acts like a switch, switching OFF the speakers when you have a plug inside, and switching them back ON when you remove the plug).

If you dont hear sounds thru the headset or speakers, check your device manager, and remove/reinstall your audio driver. You can download the driver at the dell website Support.Dell.com.

Try another speaker set.
If this does not fix it, then consider the sound card if it is removeable, get a new one. If it is internal, turn off the sound and install a sound card.
