My grinder insert no longer pulls our for
The only thing to try is to either place a bag of ice in the grinder and let it sit for an hour or so (the ice will be melted by then anyway), or stick the whole thing in the freezer/refrigerator. It may sound silly, but it works a lot of the time (the gasket at the bottom of the grinder basket has clamped down on the motor shaft and the cold releases it). If you can get it out, call customer service (800-726-0190) for a new grinder, and if it's under 3 yrs old it might be covered under their warranty (but you can still purchase one even if it's too old). Just DO NOT put that back in there until you get a new grinder basket or it may not come out the next time.
And if it just doesn't work, you can call customer service if it's within the 3 yr warranty period and they may replace the whole thing. If it's older, then unfortunately you'll have to buy a new one (unless you think you can live with it, of course, because that won't effect the brewing, but it does make cleaning it properly very hard). Good luck!
I bought a cusinart dgb

That was happening to me as well. I just ran a mixture of 1/3 vinegar and 2/3 water through a cycle. Worked great. It's the first time in a year that it completely drained the water. Make sure you follow the vinegar+water cycle with another cycle of just water.

You can purchase a new grinder assembly. Make sure that your model number matches as there are different grinders for different models.

I have had two of these machines (warranty return) and they both did the exact same thing. Here is what I have discovered the problem to be.
The lid for the carafe gets stick and internally jams. As another poster suggested clean it thoroughly (this sometimes works). I have another solution. Call 1-800-726-0190 and explain that you lid jams and leaks all over your counter. They will send you an new lid for free no questions asked. They obviously are very aware of this situation and don't even ask for proof of purchase or purchase date.

My coffee maker, automatic grind
Hi and welcome to fixya,
you will have to disable the 1-4cup setting by pressing it repeatedly to enable the default setting for 10 cups. This will automatically grind and brew for a 10 cup full pot coffee.
Summary: the 1-4 cup button should not be lit.
Hope this helps

Maybe you should just call the company. Depending on how old it is, there is a two yr warranty on the coffee maker and they will replace it. They replaced mine as all the buttons lit up and the machine did not work either.

The latch that holds the door shut sometimes becomes loose and you have to sort of wiggle the door to get the latch to hold it shut. Shut the door, then jiggle it back and forth slightly until you see the release button physically pop all the way out.

Hi, I don't believe that the "on" button will come on if the unit is in program mode. I used to have one of these. If memory serves me correctly, and your unit is not broken, then if you shut off the program, push it once, you should be able to turn it on manually.
Your coffee maker is had a 3 year warranty from Cuisinart. Here is the link to the user manual below.
