Panasonic VDR-D200 DVD Camcorder Questions & Answers
MY VDR-D220 PANASONIC CAMCORDER WON'T POWER UP !!!!!
First get a voltmeter and test the power cord END that plugs directly in the charge port..if you have voltage on the charger (24volts or less) the main board in the camera is blown. In that case if it's worth it I buy another "parts or repair" camera on eBay that at least Powers up and swap boards with my broken can. Hope that helps ??

Hello, I own a panasonic
Hi,
I'm sorry to say that the "Repair Disc" option re-formats the disc thus resulting in all the data being erased. There is no way of recovering the data once the repair is done.
Regards.

-
Insert your memory card into your computer's reader if you
have one. If not, you can purchase a multi-format USB Memory Card reader
from Amazon.com or Buy.com
-
2
Open up 'My Computer'. You should see it under the list of
available drives.
-
3
Check its contents first to make sure that you have the right
drive.
-
4
In 'My Computer', right-click on the drive and choose
'Format'.
-
5
Leave all the options as they are and click on 'Start'. This
is a non-reversible process so make sure this is what you truly wanted
to do in the first place.
-
6
Once the process is completed, take the memory card out and
insert it into your Digital Camera or any other device. Try to browse to
it to make sure it works fine now.

Check disk
wrong kind of disc, or disc is full. try viewing an old recording on it to see if its reading the discs at all. if its not reading disc, itll be a part that is the problem.
