Error code

Press Chime and Extra rinse keys for three seconds or until the control beeps. You are now in service mode and your machine should say a new error code. Depending on what that code is, you might be able to reset your machine by unplugging it, and replugging it in. if your codes are now clear, try running machine on spin only or rinse cycle. DO NOT add more soap!!! If this corrects your problem, try running a load with out soap. You may have a lot of extra soap in your machine.

Whn filling in main wash

Your problem is going to be a blockage in the inlet to the drum. To fix this problem find the inlet pipe normally located above the door behid a flap of rubber..push your fingers up there to see if you can feel a blockage..If not your going to have to remove the lid of the machine to access the pipe that leads from the detergent drawer to the tub. Look at the rear top of the machine..You will see three screws....remove them and push back and lift the top panel (lid) now you should be able to access the pipe. Pull the pipe off and clean it out, i suspect you will find a socks or any other cloth blocking the pipe. or the you have a blockage in the fill hose, probably a bleach lid cap cardboard circle or detergent lid cardboard from the cap, or another foreign object, remove the object by removing the top of the machine, remove screws in back at top slide lid back remove the dispnser by pressing down on tab and pull it all the way out, remove single screw next to dispenser, see if you can remove the tube under the dispenser box attached to the tub, if not remove dispenser box and hose attached at bottom find blockage and re assemble, with a stroke of luck you may be able to remove the object by reaching in where the dispenser tray was. This will help. Thanks please keep updated.please do rate the solution positively .thank you for using fixya

I have a coin under the drum, .

To tell you the truth, with front loads there is no easy way. But what you need to do is take front off, remove boot from door, take out inner tub and then you'll see ur coin. But what I would do is let it get to the pump assembly first before you get into it.. It should make it's way there, when it does it would be easy for you to get it

Maytag front load neptune washer, drains bad??? 14

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. When the cycle doesn't advance, it's the timer or a cold-water supply problem. It's the timer, if your washing machine fills with water and begins agitating, but the timer never advances--or if the washer is in a spin cycle and the timer won't advance. Then you need to replace the timer. It may be a cold-water supply problem, if the washing machine fills with water, agitates, drains, and spins, but then doesn't fill with rinse water. Please check that there’s no cold water.

The Sud error code indicates that excessive suds are detected by the washer during the drain or spin phases of the cycle. The washer will stop and fill with 4 liters of water and then wait for 5 minutes to allow the suds to dissipate before continuing.
If the suds cannot be reduced or eliminated so that the washer cycle can continue, it may take long time to drain. After the suds dissipate, you can normally drain the washer and spin out the clothes using a RINSE/DRAIN & SPIN cycle.

Make sure that you are using HE (High Efficiency) detergent in the appropriate amounts to prevent excessive suds in the washer. This should prevent the washer from going into this routine.

And if you still face the same error then probably there is something (coins, socks, dirt, debris, etc) stuck inside the drain filter of your washer. You'll need to check the drain filter as under:

  1. Unplug the washer to completely disconnect electrical power.
  2. Remove the bottom front service panel.

After performing the above steps please try to run it normally.

Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

Thanks
Rylee

Neptune Front Load, Error Code, dc

The machine failed to reach a spin speed of at least 400 revolutions per minute (RPM) due to unbalanced load or motor related problem. Turn off the machine and redistribute the load properly. Add more load if the load is too small for the machine to spin but do not overload it. Let me know if the error code does not clear out for further troubleshooting and repair assistance. It will help if you can elaborate and provide more details about the problem including the exact model number of the mcahine.

Need to reinstall gasket

Unplug the machine and carefully pull the edge of the door gasket near the door opening. Put the lip of the door gasket properly over the lip of the door opening. Check that it is properly seated before putting back on the retaining hoop around the lip of the door opening and the gasket. Replace the retaining hoop if it holds the door gasket loose.

Feel free to update me about the result and if you need further assistance.

Control locked wont start washing

The Control Lock is a safety feature that allows the consumer to lock the control panel to prevent small children from manipulating the controls. It can inadvertently be set following a power outage, or by leaning against the control panel. If the model number is correct, the feature can be turned on/off by pressing and holding the WASH/RINSE TEMP and SPIN SPEED buttons down at the same time for 3 seconds. This is listed on Page 6 of the owner's manual. If this is a Maytag Epic, Whirlpool Duet, or Kenmore Elite, the following link epxlains how to lock/unlock the same feature: http://www.fixya.com/support/r3608801-control_panel_lock
These instructions are also printed on the front panel of the appliance and in the owner's manual. If this does not correct your problem, then you may have a more serious problem than a simple operator control issue. If you need further assistance, please let me know. I hope this corrects the problem for you. NOTE: If you cannot locate your owner's manual, you can download or print a FREE copy at managemylife.com. Just type in your model number under the "Manuals" link and you will find your manual listed in a .pdf (Adobe) format.

At the middle of my load there was stop with code symbol E3

E3 is that the machine can't see that the motor is spinning. Could either be a loose connector at the motor or a loose hall-effect sensor. this might be a fairly easy fix for a repair tech,

I have a Maytag 8700

Hi,

Do you see any Error Message on that?

If yes, let me know the same without Reading Further. If not, it might be due to many reasons. You need to properly Investigate. As, you never provide me with all Details, the Best i could do is to Offer you complete Guide.

Before that, Kindly check the Below procedure to Test Pump :-

http://www.acmehowto.com/howto/appliance/washer/check/pump.php

The Guide is :-

It spins, but doesn't pump If your washer spins but doesn't pump the water out, the drain line is probably clogged. In many washers, a small sock or other piece of clothing can get between the clothes tub and the outer tub that holds the water. If the clothing gets between the tubs, it may then get into the drain hose that's attached to the pump--or even into the pump itself. If it's in the pump, you need to remove the hoses from the pump and pull the item out. To remove the sock from the outer tub port, open the washer's main access panel and remove the large-diameter rubber hose that connects the pump to the bottom of the outer tub. Then, using needle-nose pliers, try to grab and remove the clothing through the port. Sometimes you can't remove the stuck clothing from below. Then you have to remove the agitator, top of the outer drum shield, and inner clothes tub. This isn't easy to do--and you may need special tools--so you might be happier getting a qualified appliance repair technician to do the job. If the drain line isn't plugged, the problem may be with your pump. Even if the pump appears to be turning, the internal impeller may be broken. If so, you need to replace the pump. It doesn't spin or pump If your washer doesn't spin or pump water out but the motor is running, your washer probably has a frozen pump pulley. If so, you need to replace the pump. To check the pulley, remove the pump from the washer and try to rotate the pulley manually. If it doesn't turn freely--if it's frozen or stiff--replace it. It pumps, but the water returns If the water that pumps out of the machine goes back into the machine after the spin cycle, your washer may be siphoning the water from a laundry tub that has a slow drain, back into the washer. The usual remedy for this is to improve the draining of the laundry tub. (Is something stuck in the drain?) Also, check for these problems: If the drain hose reaches more than about 4 inches into the laundry tub, cut off the excess. If your drain hose is lower than the washer's cabinet, install an air gap/siphon break assembly.

Let me know, if needed further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!
