You have already analyzed the cause of the problem. That makes the fix much easier. Trace the hose that leaked by to your machine. There you will find that the hose is connected to a plastic solenoid valve. (A solenoid valve is merely an electrically powered diaphragm valve that is either open or closed). Disconnect the power to the washing machine. You can remove and disassemble the valve, getting down to the diaphragm and clean it, but for the time and cost, it will be probably easier and more effecient to replace the solenoid, and repair the other at your leisure. Any appliance parts supply house should be able to provide the part you need, at a low price.

Apparently there IS something wrong with the door switch. If you can, just jumper it out. Open the lid and get to the door switch. Tie the two wires together ans see if that cures it. Hi. your problem is actually a rather complicated one.

Timer and selector switches The timer switch is usually the largest dial on the main control panel. It can be either a mechanical device much like a simple clock, or completely electronic with just a digital readout.

The timer runs the washing machine in a pre-determined pattern. It provides the electricity to all of the washing machine components at the correct time and for the correct length of time.

The Start switch is usually part of the timer knob. When you set the timer to the proper cycle, you either pull or push the timer knob to start the cycle.

The selector switches or knobs vary from machine to machine. Most washing machines have one or several switches or knobs on the control panel besides the Timer/Start switch. These let you adjust certain settings; for example, the water temperature, spin speed, timer cycle, and so on. Normally, the washing machine completes the cycle selected on the timer, regardless of how you set these switches and knobs.

1. nspect the drain hose for kinks
   
2. Test the timer control
   
3. Test the lid switch (some models)
   
4. Inspect the water pump
   
5. Inspect the drive belt (belt drive only)
   
6. Inspect the motor coupler

Sounds like the pump is going bad. It will drain while on the floor because the hose id lower then the water level inside the machine. You can get to the pump by removing the rear access panel. It is an electric motor. You can test to see if it is getting 120V.
They have been known for the impellor coming off the shaft as wel.

If you have already replaced the main board then Its probably bad sensor. Have the sensors checked or have it replaced. I hope this helps. Have a good one.

likely a rubber gasket slipped off the groove.... try taking it apart and slipping the gasket back on.

heavy loads have more force during the spin cycle.

a cycle with just hot water and chlorine bleach will help but you may have to work at it a litle longer to get the door seal any cleaner in future run a short cycle with bleach and leave door open between use as much as possible..there is a new tablet shaped cleaner out now that may help in routine cleaning ckd with local dealer or repair personel also may ckd grocery shelf

"dc" means that the control board is trying to ramp up (that is, send a signal to the motor controller), but has encountered an unbalanced load and so shuts down. Specifically, "dc" means "distribute clothes".

I took this opportunity to upload a Tech and Troubleshooting manual for you. Here is the link for it. Read it carefully. You will be required to perform a "board output" test after placing the machine in "Service Mode".

I gotta tell ya, though. Based on my history with these, I highly suspect that the machine control board has failed. Let me know what you find, OK?

Check the drain hose. If it's not kinked or blocked then it could be the drain pump. I just pulled out two rocks from my drain pump. I found step-by-step instructions with pictures here:

remove 4 screws around edge of dispenser.remove dispenser cover front edge of dispenser is a nylon cord similar to weed eater string pull hard to left door should unlock .probably will need new lock but chance there may be just something stuck in pump might try getting to it by removing back panel from front remove screws each side of door frame panel will come off if you want to try from the front good luck

Disconnect the power. Keep the old board connected. Hold the new one next to the old one. Swap the wires ONE AT A TIME from the old board to the new board.

As for the user whose machine will not drain and sounds as though a chain is clanking, the solution is probably a coin caught in the drain pump. I just had the same problem. Access the pump from the bottom of the machine. 4 screws hold the mounting bracket on undo those, the electrical connection and two hose to the pump. Undo three screws holding impeller to motor and coin can fall out. Examine for damage if it is not too tore up, put back together. Keep in mind that when you unclamp the hoses that water will come out.

Some m/c's have a non return valve fitted at the pump end of the outlet hose, this wud prevent u blowing down it, u need to remove the hose completely from the pump to check for blockage.

no has to be completely dismantled unless you can get it out throw hose, call sears buy service smart agreement will cover up to 500.00, its a 2hr 2 man job to take apart and needs new center seal , a serve smart agreement is coverage on already broken appliance and 1 yr warranty that covers taking dryer off and on

sounds like you have a short in control board on washer buy service smart agreement from sears it will cost a little and cover up to 500.00 or give you 500.00 towards replacement value, dryer if you have heat its your vent in wall not breathing well , it will cause long dry times

very possible if squeaks in agitation top springs that hold tub needs greased under spring & plastic shield under spring. had same problem on big front loaders whirlpool
