Try to conect directly with cross utp cable to an pc, if every thing works, its your network problem (maybe privilegies, banns,...) if not ... good luck :-)

OK, you should have canon driver/software cd.On that CD you will find Scan Gear, after installation, open Scan gear and "discover" the ir2020.( copier must be in scan mode) then press select.
Open the word or similar on your pc that is connected with USB to copier.Under tab insert chose the insert from scaner or camera, chose scan gear and custom insert.

You need to upload the software for it.Call service.

Under service mode * 2 8 * select clear and all.

Replace fixing film assy, call service, you cant do it on your own.

Are you check the sensor flaper for paper presence?
It is located above paper in pick up assy.Whe you remove the drawer you should be able to see the black flaper hanging from above.

Try to print something, if there is any streaks?If no the problem is in copy glass (dadf or platen glass).

If there is streaks on print also,it could be the drum unit ( pull the drum unit out and see if on drum surface is any black streaks), fixing film is worn out, and in the worst case you have problem with toner unit ( on toner unit you have current leackage ) and you need (in best case) clean the contacts on toner unit, and in more expencive case tochange the toner unit.

Im not very sure but i think it goes something like this:
Under service mode *28*, and then numeric parameters, under no.41 try to set value on 0 (but emember value before if it isnot that, so that you can enter it back) if that does not help call back and I will check it little beter.

Try re installed printer, its software and drivers see if that helps. Also check fuses in plugs for the printer it may have blown.

Plz. empty waste tonner from it and then clean it. it will resove your problem or check life of drum unit.

you have to set up on the machine to scan to SMB. you then creat a folder in your c drive to recieve the scaned documents the folder needs to be a shared folder and you have the option to recieve it im PDF format.     let me know if that helps you out.
