EE is a high pressure error code. The unit may be to small for the room deppending on what temp it is outside.If its over 95.f The a/c is probably overworked.

One way to solve this would be to cool down the coils outside.Spray water lightly on the outside of the unit too cool it down which will bring the pressure down also.

The 20 amp would be enough for your AC as the initial current drain will be only when the motor starts ups and will reduce to about half on running.
So provided the AC has no fault of its own the present socket can be used and spcially if the socket quality -- must not heat while the AC is running.

Hi, the amps would be OK, but you have to have a 230 volt outlet to plug it into, or it will not run. There is no other way to do this unless you run a 230 volt line over to the window unit. You can do this from the outside of the house. This is all you can do unless you move the a/c to where you have a 230 volt plug, and I don't think you want that. This is the only way I am sorry to say.

The switch or knob for that burner is shot. to disconnect that burner first see if there is a fuse that goes to just that burner and take it out. That should stop any power to that burner. If not take the knob out and undo the wires to that switch and put electrical mar rets on the wire ends. Just as a precaution put electrical black tape on the outside of the mar rets to make sure they do not come off. DO NOT try to put these wires back on the switch.

The orifice is too large. Make sure it's the correct one and that it matches the old one. On occasion, the orifice that shows to be the correct one could be wrong and you'll need the original one to determine which one you need.
