Yes there is NO reason why you can't. You must simply install the Printer Drivers on BOTH PC's. Using the Software supplied, first Setup/Install the printer on your Desktop PC, FIRST, as a LOCAL printer. Then 2nd, from ya lappy setup your printer as a "Networked" printer.. locate and connect.. the driver will install, & ya can then print a Test Page, to see if it is all OK. After the Drivers are installed at BOTH locations you will be able to print from your laptop through your desktop to ya printer... no worries..
