It won't run, power is on, and all the console
When this happened to me I just pressed the "drain/stop" button (forgot the exact wording) and the blinking stopped and I was able to operate it ok. This has happened twice since the washer was serviced in 2007 for a factory recall situation. The door has been harder to close since then. The washer also will usually stop midway through a wash cycle. I will then just push the door firmly at which point it usually starts back up and finishes normally. If anyone knows the reason for any of this I'd love to hear it.

Dishwasher soap still in door after wash cycle, so
Check for the right amount of water in tub. In this unit close to the lip of the tub after fill. If water fill is correct check movement of lower spray arm. Other possibilities delayed action of dispenser from defective wax motor. Most probable is wash motor. Start unit after fill and when was starts, open door and see if water is being pushed to the top rack and dripping from the top of tub. Motor is easy to install.

Tub leaks, with a partially filled tub (2.5 inches
I am assuming leaking when it is running, not sitting idle. Leaking from the door? Fill and run unit for 1 minute with no detergent. Open door. Are suds present? Suds turn into water when they drop to the floor. Suds can flow over the lip of the tub and drip to the floor. Oversudsing, Sometimes old detergent breakdown. Rinse aid dispenser leaking will cause oversudsing. Combination of all in one products will cause many problems. If suds are present after running unit a minute, pour a cup of cooking oil in unit. Run and fill it a few times until suds are gone. Possible most common cause is dispenser latch grommet.

Does it have a food chopping blade
If the model number is correct, this model dishwasher has a cutter blade that is used to beat or chop up coarse food deposits into fine particles to make it easier for the dishwasher to drain them. If you go to pcappliancerepair.com and look under the "Pump and Motor Parts" section, you will see it listed as item 18 in the parts index.
With that said, these chopping assemblies are NOT garbage disposals! This does not imply that you can place anything in the dishwasher and expect it to be chopped and disposed of. There are certain things that should NOT be placed in a dishwasher. Here's a short list of items that I have found that will clog the pump and drain assemblies:
celery
meat gristle
water chestnuts
lima beans
chicken bones
popcorn kernels
broken glass
toothpicks
match sticks
birthday candles
Basically, anything that is stringy (like celery), has waxy skins (like certain beans), or otherwise cannot be chopped (like meat gristle and popcorn kernels) should not be placed in a dishwasher. Always refer to the owner/operator's manual for clarification.
If you have any additional questions, please post back and let me know. I hope this information is helpful to you.
