Maytag 24 in. MDBH950AWS Built-in Dishwasher - Page 2 Questions & Answers
Maytag MDBH950AWB handle/latch failed.
Replaced handle/latch unit. Killed power to the unit. Removed the inside door panel then unplugged the two switches on the latch. Removed old latch with broken handle (removing inside panel frees latch/handle). Installed new latch with handle reconnected the two switches, reinstalled inside door panel. Very simple. Note: Latches can be purchased with or without the handle. Less expensive to buy with the handle already installed on the latch.

Glassware not clean
If you have hard water, glasses can look spotted and cloudy even after cleaning. Sometimes changing the dishwasher detergent can help. The easiest solution to clearing up glasses that start to look cloudy is toadd some vinegar to the bottom of the dishwasher before you start a cycle. Simply add 1 cup of white vinegar and it will clear up your glasses very well.
You should see marked improvement after the first time you do this. If they are not crystal clear then simply repeat the process until all of the cloudiness is gone. In fact I recommend to using a little vinegar in each cycle to maintain the clarity of the glass.
Note: you can pre-test this by rubbing some vinegar on an individual glass with a cloth. If you cannot remove the cloudiness by soaking it and rubbing vinegar on it then it is possible that the glass is etched due to harsh or cheap dishwasher detergent and vinegar will not solve the problem.

Dishes aren't clean when they
Hi
White film deposits are observed if water is hard or when you are using more detergent than needed, try filling detergent cup half way. Try using white vinegar after the wash cycle is complete, run a complete cycle. Also turn down the heat on the hot water fed to the dishwasher. Try using water softener for better results. You can also add vinegar in the final rinse cycle. Make sure that your soap dispenser drawer is opening and closing fine.Hope this helps... Please post back if more information is required.

Should be able to order one of these from dealer, or go on-line to purchase a new one. Good luck, best regards
Power to conrol board but
If you changed the control board and control panel then and it worked for awhile I'd sugguest you look at that first. You board should have came in a ESD bag. I worked in a factory and I know that boards are very sensitive to electro static discharge. Ex. walking on a rug and shocking a computer board. When this happens computer boards are damaged and will work for a period of time, however, they will fail eventually. When handling boards be sure to ground yourself buy touching metal on the dishwasher and then touching the board unless you have an esd cord.
Hope I was helpful please rate me a 4 if that helped

Machine runs but not cleaning dishes
You may have debris in the sprayer arm jets. It is usually simple to remove the sprayer arms. Then rinse them well using the sink sprayer for forceful water power. I have sometimes had to use a tweezer to remove bits of plastic, paper, bone, or food particles. Once you've remove the debris, rinse well forcing water through to dislodge any other debris. Once you've reattached the sprayer arms, you should have cleaner dishes.
Also, some brands of dishwashers have a pipe that runs up the inside back wall and connects to a pipe that runs under the top shelf. Water flowing through this pipe under the top shelf propels the sprayer arms. If the connection at the back is not flush with the "propel" pipe there won't be enough water pressure to turn the sprayer arm. Check to see if your dishwasher has this type of set up.
I hope this works. If it does, please let Fixya know by rating my solution.
Good luck!
