Bought new spray arms online and installed them in minutes...now the thing works like new... However I have also found that if the heating element goes bad then that also can mess things up bad... So I would buy new spray arms, and also check out the heating element to make sure it is working... Here is a tip that will help you with the online buying...

Model MDB7100AWW. Machine washes
You have to verify that element is actually receiving voltage at start of dry cycle. Cause will be timer or relay. Be sure to check hi-limit switch and door seal.
At the start up of the wash cycle and then
Try tearing the lower spray arm assembly down to the deck (making notes to record placement and orientation of all parts as you go along). Clean the filter screens in hot water, detergent, and white vinegar. Remove the pump components at the very bottom (not the motor itself) and look for debris in the impeller chamber. Check the holes in the deck for food debris. Assemble in reverse order. Check the spray arms for plugged spray holes and any split seams. Hope this helps!
Water does not drain out
Try draining into a bucket. To do this remove the machine discharge hose connected to your master drain. Place this in the bucket. If the discharge is Ok in a bucket, then check the main discharge connecting point for clogging.
If still the problem continues you have contact the service provider.
MAytag dishwasher MDB7100AWW doesn't dry.
Hi
Thanks for using FixYa. If the dishwasher is draining properly and is working perfectly fine then you'll need to open up the Dishwasher and check the heating element as that could have gone bad. You can get to the heating element from underneath by pulling the unit out and then tilting it backwards. If its not draining properly then check whether the drain is not clogged or blocked and the line is not kinked. Check all the hoses for blockages & also clean the air gap. Has the disposer been replaced recently? If so, chances are the knockout is still in place. Simply remove the drain hose from the disposer, and knock out the plug. If the disposer has not been replaced, try removing the drain hose from the disposer and use a wet-dry vacuum (prepared for water, of course) to **** any water (and hopefully anything else) from the drain line. Then reconnect the hose, and test the unit. If you have checked the air gap and the drain hose and can’t locate the problem, then it is an issue with the drain pump of the dishwasher. Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.
Thanks

Someone suggested replacing the hinge.
hinge is operated by springs that connect to the base of the unit where the adjustment legs are. The tension on thew door can be adjusted by moving the spring to the next hole on the base. Remove bottom panel of the unit at the floor area and look under the unit you will see the spring and the holes on the base frame that they hook to. Move the spring back for more tension and forward for less.
Hope this helped

Dishes on top rack do not come out clean. Bottom
Have you tried cleaning the filter? We had a similar problem. The repair man came and removed all the spinners and the other stuff at the bottom above the motor to get to the filter. It was blocked with all kinds of old food bits and pieces, the odd bit of plastic film etc. He cleaned it, replaced it and we havn't had a problem since but he said it needs to be done about every two years. It can be done by someone who has reasonable DYI skills.
How do you safely replace the handle on this
Easy job. You'll need a new "latch assembly". I found one at appliancepartspros.com for $18+ and $7 shipping. Part #W10130695. More $ elsewhere. Procedure: Remove torx head screws on 3 sides of the door, then pull the interior part of the door away from the exterior a few inches at the top of the door. The old latch assembly (and the broken handle, now separate) can now be accessed easily. There are two wire connectors press fit to the latch assembly switches. Use a screwdriver if necessary to pry them off the old assembly, which is probably corroded somewhat. Do this one at a time and replace on the corresponding terminals of the new latch assembly so the wires don't get switched (or else mark them before removal.) Reposition the latch assembly, push the two halves of the door back together and replace the screws. Done. I'll note that the latch is positioned but not secured by two pairs of thin plastic "fingers" molded into the back of the control panel. Three of four fingers had sheared off. I didn't feel like spending $70 to $130 for a new control panel so decided to try doing without. The latch is secured by the two center screws at the top of the door, so as long as those are tight it should be fine.
Dishwasher does not drain properly
Hi,
most common faults with dishwashers is a drain fault. Check for any kinked hoses and check the drain spigot under the sink where the drain hose connects into the u bend. Usually this is where food gets trapped due to the spigot not being drilled out large enough. This then causes a blockage. In your case it may not have been drilled out at all as plumbers sometimes forget to do this especially as you mentioned the unit was brand new.! Also check the non return valve under the filter and make sure the drain pump can turn freely.
Hope this helps.

Ok Im going on the Maytag Model # MDB7600AWB your model is missing some at the end.
If this is your Model the your door cable most likley has broken. part # 99003446
Please verify your model # from your machine looking around the door frame.
We have a mdb7600aww dishwaser that does not clean
Mine would not drain properly, so I am not sure if that correlates to your problem (water pooled in bottom). I pulled the drain hose off my garbage disposal and put a long wood dowel through it to clear any blockage (about 3 feet long). It cleared the blockage and the dishwasher drained fine after that! I have had to do this a few months later, so it must be a chronic problem.
I have had problems with impeller blockage too, and have had to take that apart. I HATE this dishwasher for the continual problems encountered. NEVER a "Paytag" again.
2 upper rack rollers cracked in Maytag #MDB7600AWS
JP Weld works great on repairing these junky Maytag parts. Note that they don't have a replacement for these upper wheels and a guy is selling expensive stainless steel replacements. The round connector broke off of ours that holds the wheel to the rack. My wife found a plastic button that fit within the space and we glued it with JP Weld epoxy (water and temperature resistant). 10 washes later, still working great! I expect it will "heal" any other plastic parts. NEVER will I buy a Maytag again!
Loud noise
Check for bones/glass/ceramic from chipped plates in the food chopper (for lack of a better term). You'll need to disassemble the entire lower arm unit.
I have a Maytag MDB7600AWB
HI,
Check for the following troubleshooting steps:
Some leaking around-under-from the door on dishwashers can be traced back to a split in the spray arm. If the lower spray arm develops a split in it, the spray arm can turn too fast, and shoot water directly at things that it is not suppose to spray water at....sprays water at the door vents or edges and can create water leaks.
Many of the manufactures today have gone to a plastic corrugated drain hose on there dishwashers. These hoses have been trouble for leaking!!. Where the drain hose makes a bend it seems to get weak and splits = water on the floor. If you have a leaking water problem, especially if the dishwasher still leaks when the dishwasher is not in use complaint...check for a cracked drain hose.
