cover > remove the cartridges > close the printer cover > re-brick you
printer by pulling out the power supply - black box behind the printer where
the power cord is plugged in, and re-plug after 10 seconds. When the printer
turns on, reinsert the cartridges and close the cover. Try to print a document

menu.
- Go to Programs.
- Go to Lexmark 2600 Series
folder.

My Lexmark X2350 will not recognize a replacement ink cartridge
Lexmark does not recommend the use of refilled, re-manufactured or clone cartridges. You might not get the print quality you expect from the ink that is specially formulated by Lexmark and these type of cartridges often result to poor print quality and/or may cause damage to the printer itself. Reliability of these type of cartridges is very poor.It is highly recommended to use genuine Lexmark cartridges for the most optimal output experience. Lexmark printers work best with genuine supplies.

Printer will not turn on
If you are encountering power problems with your printer, please
go through the following checklist:
- Make sure the power cord is
plugged in securely and directly to the power outlet. Power surge
protectors can draw power away from the printer.
- Disconnect the power cord from
the power outlet and the back of the printer and then reconnect it.
- Check the power supply box (if
there is one) to see if it is warm or cold, as there could be a defective
power supply issue.
- If there is access to a
voltmeter, test the power supply to ensure that it registering the correct
amount of voltage (most Lexmark printers have a 30Volt output).
- Make sure the correct power
supply is connected to the printer.
For the problem where the cartridge carrier "slides back and forth", i
t could be due to the cartridges or the encoder strip
(transparent strip seated behind the cartridge carrier) has gotten loose from
its position. Please follow the steps below to identify and fix the problem:
- Open the printer cover and
remove the cartridges. Note: If the carrier does not automatically move to
the center, turn off the printer or unplug the printer from the power
source and then slide the carrier to the center for the loading position.
- Check the encoder strip and
make sure it is secured in its place.
- Close the printer cover.
- Re-brick your printer. Pull out
the power supply (black box where the power cord is plugged in at the back
of the printer) and put it back after 30 seconds.
- When the printer turns on,
reinsert one cartridge first. Close the printer cover and check for any
errors.
- If no error appears, reinsert
the other cartridge. Close the printer cover.
- Replace whichever cartridge is
causing the error to appear with a new cartridge.
- If no error appears, try to
print a document again to verify that the problem is fixed.

No cd to install all
You don't actually need a cd to install the X2350. You can go to Lexmark's website in the support section and download the latest drivers and software needed for installation. The easiest way is to do a search for the X2350 in the search bar in the support section. Then it will ask which operating system you use. Select the operating system you use, and then it will list the downloads available based on your system. Download that to a place where you can find it on your computer (example: Desktop or My Documents). Once the download finishes, make sure your printer is powered on and the USB cable is plugged in. Then find the file you downloaded, double click on it, and the setup process will begin. This will install all of the necessary drivers and software so you can use the printer. Note: If it's the first time you've used the printer and connect it to the computer using the USB cable, then Windows will automatically try and find the drivers for you. I recommend cancelling this process and just using the drivers/setup that you downloaded from Lexmark's website.
