You dont have to worry if you don't have the CD for the installer of your printer anymore. The installer can be downloaded anytime from Lexmark's website. Just select what version of Windows and the system type you have on your computer. If you are not sure what it is, follow the steps below:
1a)If you have Windows XP: -Click on Start>Run>Type "msinfo32" on the run box then click OK. You should be seeing something like this.

1b)If you have Windows Vista or Windows 7, just simply click on Start>then on the search box right above it, also type "msinfo32" then press enter. The System Information window for Vista and 7 looks like this:

2)Those windows will be showing you the system information of your computer. The information that we need would be the OS Name and system type.
3)Now we will be able to check whether what type of driver we will be downloading. If the system type is x86, it means that it is a 32bit system. if its x64, obviously its a 64bit.
4)After you have selected the correct OS and version, click on Filter.
5)Click on the link below Recommended Downloads. It will pop up another window for the driver download.
6)Just download the driver, and run it afterwards.
7)It will now install the driver and software for your Lexmark printer.

I'm sorry to inform you that the Lexmark X2350 printer is compatible on Windows operating system only. If you wish to upgrade your printer for Mac compatibility, contact Lexmark technical support for assistance.

Here is a link from Lexmark to make your printer work,PROVIDED, that you are using Win XP or 2000. They do not show any package that works with Vista or Win 7. Since you say that it is a "new" pc, I presume it is not an Win XP op system. You may be money ahead by purchasing a new printer If using Vista or 7. Check out the price of replacing ink cartridges, as lexmark are normally overpriced. (This is not a plug ) Kodak printers are supposed to be the most economical, but I have no knowledge on the quality. Good luck and If I find a better link ,I will post for you!

Try to download the X2350 driver (Windows only) by visiting the Lexmark website at http://bit.ly/i4Axqw. Select your operating system, download, execute the file and follow the instructions on your computer screen.

One of the leading causes of paper not feeding issues is some sort of foreign objects or debris falling into the paper feed system. Remove the sheets of paper. Grab a flashlight and look into the feeder for any debris. If you are willing and capable, carefully lift the printer upside down. Any debris should just freely roll out from the feeder.

1. Open the top front cover of the printer. If the display DOES NOT read Close cover or Insert cartridge, the 32 error is not caused by the toner cartridge and printer service will be required to fix the problem.

2. Make sure the correct toner cartridge is installed for this printer model.
1. Check Lexmark for a list of compatible cartridges for your printer.
2. If the wrong toner cartridge is installed, remove it and install the correct one.

3. If the correct toner cartridge is installed, it may not be seated correctly. To ensure that this is not the cause of the error, do the following:
1. Turn off the printer.
2. Reseat the toner cartridge.
3. Close the lid.
4. Power the printer back on and check the display.

4. If reseating the toner cartridge does not clear the error message and the error started as soon as you installed this particular toner cartridge, the cartridge may be broken. You can check this as follows:
1. Power off the printer and then reinstall the old cartridge. (You can also try a different new cartridge to see if that clears the error.)
2. If the error does disappear, the problem may lie with this cartridge. Please contact the point of purchase, especially if the cartridge is brand new out of the box.

5. If the error cannot be cleared by putting in a new toner cartridge or one that is known to be working, the printer may require service to fix the problem.

You can download the Lexmark Z715 driver for free by visiting the Lexmark website at http://bit.ly/i0fDsZ. Select your operating system, download, execute the file and follow the instructions on your computer screen.

The Lexmark 2350/ any 2400 series does not have drivers supporting the Mac OS (Mac book). We'll have to wait till the drivers for Mac OS becomes available.

Try to remove the sheets of paper from the feeder. Grab a flashlight and take a look into the feeder for any foreign objects that might have accidentally fallen into it. If none, unplug and replug your printer into your power source to reset it. If problem continues, please contact Lexmark technical support for additional assistance. Thanks.

If you have just bought it then it will tell you the cartridge type either on the side of the box or in the instructions. Be aware though that the cartridges for Lexmarks tend to be very expensive - that is why the printer is so cheap usually!
Looking on ebay, copy cartriidges seem to be about $10 each. You will need 1 black and 1 colour. Please note that the cartridges supplied with the printer will not last as long as regular cartridges!

1. Raise the scanner bed and position the scanner support to hold the bed up, exposing the printer cartridges.

2. Press down on the tab on the end of the cartridge cover to open the cartridge bay. Pull the old cartridge straight out of the bay and properly dispose of it. Remove the tape and stickers from the new cartridge and insert the new cartridge into the bay.

3. Press the cover down until it locks in place, securing the cartridge. Repeat the process on the other cartridge if necessary.

4. Lift the scanner bed to release the scanner support. Lower the scanner bed to close the printer.

Try to reseat your new cartridge. You may wipe the nozzles with a damp paper towel to clean it from dirts and clogs. Make sure it's properly inserted. Unplug and replug your printer into the power source to reset itself. If error continues, try to insert a different known working cartridge to determine if your new cartridge is faulty. Thanks.

Is there a power light on the power brick? if not make sure the power brick is plugged in all the way. Try plugging a lamp or a light in the socket and make sure the not the outlet.
Still having problems try a different outlet.
If there is power going to the printer make sure the connection between the power and the printer is firmly in.

It could be that the port for the printer in the Control Panel is not configured correctly. You may refer to this article on No Communications Error When Trying to Print or Scan. If that doesn't help, I would suggest you uninstall the Lexmark software.
