Test your headset on this free webcam test site. Click on the mic icon and select the Logitech from the drop down list. It should now work. Then make sure it is selected as your audio device in any program you use.

Hey.. Just got solution for this, all you need to do is go to Preferences (Ctrl+Shift+P) and then go to Connection and down below you would find Internet Connection, set it to HIGH-SPEED (T1-LAN) and click on Apply and then Ok. All you have to do now is to EXIT (dont just close it but Exit out of the Messenger) and then launch the Messenger again. You should have the Call setup options under Calling and Devices in Preferences. (Preferences are under the Messenger menu) -- Dev

to setup your logitech usb headset
goto start>control panel>sound and audio devices> click on the audio tab
now in default playback device select logitech usb headset. in recording options also select logitech usb headset.

make sure in yahoo your logitech headset is selected as the primary sound device and not the primary sound driver.. Alternatly you can go into the windows settings and select the logitech as your primary default playback and recording device. Goto control panel and sound and audio devices. click on the audio tab and select the logitech headset.

Hi there, you have to be sure that your mic is connected well and (the right place in the computer) there must be several wholes there, be sure you have choise the right one for the mic and the driver to the sound card is the right one, you can find the driver in the Start- Control Panel -Administration

Hope that solve your mic problem, please check your mic on another computer for see if it is well there.

Hi, Please uninstall any logitech software version present on your OS - Then please proceed to clean boot. ( http://logitech-en-amr.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/logitech_en_amr.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=228 ) -> Unplug all the USB devices connected to the computer ( Less keyboard + mouse ) please use corded kbd+mouse if possible rather than a cordless device. -> Go to device manager -> Delete all the USB HOST CONTROLLER -- All of them -- -> The host controller might reinstall them itslef, let the computer handle the reinstallation -> If the computer does not reinstall the host controllers, trigger the detection using the DM function " Scan for new hardware " ( The computer with magnifier icon ) -> Once reinstalled, clean boot -> Reinstall the software if available and/or plug the hardware when needed. -> Should work.
This TB delete the usb ports " memory " means if a device as been previously flagged with error, it will redetect the device without the flag, unless there is some serious issue with the hardware/OS
If after this the issue persist, then I suggest you to call Logitech support to issue a replacement, hardware failures are covered by warranty terms

go to skype settings, audio->select the mic from webcam->

check this also, in the general audio settings of the system, sometimes by default, the microphone will be muted.

Check the sound setup in Windows, could be your default recording device is not configured properly.
Here is an article on Windows Vista, but most applies similarly to Windows 7 and even XP.

Have you tried changing the Audio Device that windows is using?
Under the Sound and Audio Devices in the ontrol Panel. Under the Audio tab, try the Default Device under Sound playback. Change this to the headphones.

You have to set the software in order to connect the wright way. with a USB device it will never work.
go to the properties of your audiocard and theire select what you want

You said you were disconnected so I said it again. You need to update your motherboard drivers. This will update your chipset drivers and hence the USB controllers. If you cant find your chipset drivers let me know the make and model of your motherboard and I will find them for you. I am positive that this will resolve your issue.
