My xbox 360 controller will not connect to my xbox
See if any xbox controllers will connect to your 360. If you can't get any to connect to your xbox 360 then that means you have a bad controller board. If you can get other controllers to connect then that means you need to configure your xbox to accept that xbox controller.

Hello Danial,Someone on FixYa had the same problem with the username of "Viphunk". I've never encountered this problem when using an Xbox 360 controller for the PC. Viphunk mentioned that he "accessed his control panel" and fixed it. Maybe one of your controllers are configured, and one is not. I imagine you would do the following, but I'm not guarenteed.1. Locate Start, and click "Control Panel".2. Once at the Control Panel menu, double click "Game Controllers".3. (Guess)-Click the name of the controller you are currently using, and click "properties".4. You might find something in there that has your answer, or of course go back to Control Panel screen, and click "Sounds and Audio Devices, and explore in there. If you have any further questions or concerns, feel free to contact me.

Hello carolinemacl,I'd imagine a gel would not help a controller at all to connect to a console. I've heard of Silica Gel Packs to help soak up moisture from the controller, that is if it got wet, and circuits shortening. Infrared remotes (I don't know if Xbox is an IR remote,) use infrared rays to send and receive messages. Infrared rays will transmit a gel filter. It's a hard question to answer. If you have any other questions or concerns, feel free to contact me.

I REALLY NEED HELP WITH
Hello barbarkulan,Try locating the game options in the "Call of Duty" menu, and seek "controls" or something close to that. Once you have reached this menu, try finding and option that says, "invert controls", or something close to that. If it is enabled, disable it, and you should be good to go. If you have any further questions or concerns feel free to contact me in the future.
