forgot my pattern to unlock need to reset

Step 1. Hold the Volume Up and Power button simultaneously (for Samsung Galaxy devices, hold Volume Up + Home + Power). Step 2. Hold the button combination until you see the word Start (on Stock Android). Samsung devices will load straight into recovery - release buttons when you see the Android logo. Step 3. Use volume buttons to scroll to "Recovery" and press the Power button to select it. Step 4. If you see "No Command", hold the Power button and press the Volume Up button once. Step 5. Use Volume Down to scroll down to "wipe data/factory reset" and press the Power button to select it. Step 6. Select Yes the same way. you will need to set up the wifi first , there is a spot in the setup screens that says wifi , go to this and expand it by clicking on it , this will show a list of avail networks (there could be more than one) select yours in the list , a prompt will show up (enter network password ) you must enter your network password exactly as its in your router (or coffee shop router) and press enter when done , it will prompt back with connecting " when its done it will go back to previous screen , make sure your main prompt for wifi is still on then open your browser and enter a desination it should work , I will tell you this model is very picky about signal strength and wont connect unless you have least four bars .

You can do a usually do a factory reset by turning off the tablet holding down the power and volume up button and it should take you to a menu that you can factory reset your tablet. Use the volume up and down buttons to scroll up or down on the menu, and power to select. Hope this helps you

Of you are referring to the background color of the home screen then just long press it {hold your finger down on an empty space) and you should get the option to set the background.

It sounds as if you simply need to reconnect to your wifi network. If you have already connected to it, but still have no access, then disconnect from your network, remove the network from your settings (Forget The Network) and then try reconnecting to it.
