I don't know what version of windows you are running but Windows 7 has had some compatabilty problems with older software. What are you using for video on this system? If you're using Radeon HD, you may be able to gain sound through there. Anyway, with Windows 7 tou may want to try a generic driver provide by windows or, you may want to try to let Intel scan your system here;

If you go to "device manager", click on box, on right, of "sound audio and game controllers" do you see any warnings, !, ?, or yellow triangle?. If so click on the symboland follow proceedure. Right click on your devices(s), one at a time and, in the kist you should see "disable". If you see "enable" click on that and exit. Right click on you device(s) again, then on the "properties" tab. You should see "this device is working properly". Click on the "driver" tab", then on "update". Click on "search automatically for update...", and exit when finished. You should have a speaker icon in your task bar, lower right of screen, right click on that, then on open sound mixer, and adjust your volume.

Hello download the right driver here:http://www.msi.com/product/mb/865PE-Neo2-PLS--PFS--PFISR.html#/?div=Driver&os=AllPlease select your windows and unzip the file when downloaded.You also need the chipset driver.Here is only drivers for win xp so if you are running windows 7 or vista you have to buy a soundcard because the driver is not supportet for a new windows system.The green outlet is for the speakers and see that the volumen isen`tturned down low or muted.Good luck

intel 865 mother board need intel 865 driver and 865 m board bus speed is 800
but 533 buss speed mother board is 845 m board it will not match with 865 ,so you should download intel 865 vga driver .Go any mother company >support>choice mother model and download it.I should not give any answer to any email id ,sorry dont mind.

and download it (as in Save, not Run) using another pc than transfer the installer using a USB stick to the pc in question then launch it there.

This is a problem with the HDD connector cable. Please disassemble the computer. And reset the cable that is connected between the Motherboard and the Hard drive. If it still does not resolve the issue then you need to get a new cable.

make a ghost image using norton ghost before installing any sound driver. if you installed already any driver, reinstall your windows. the sound driver keeps some files that are very difficult to delete.
