Most external loud ringers are analog and your phone is digital. You would also need a digital to analog converter and use an additional digital extension to make it work.

Double tone more often called stuttered dial tone means you have a message in your mailbox. This message system is controlled by your carrier who supplies your phone line so you need to call them and ask for the * code to check messages as well the password they have set it at.

Just that!There is no dial tone at the jack or you have a bad cord.

your instrument seems to have problem. The reson is that even when you change the line you still have the problem while your other phone does not. The lines are fine. It is this instrument that needsa replacement as repairing them is not worth the effort and money.

By the year 2012 or 2013 it's not likely you will pay $20-30 for an additional land line instead of $10 for a cell phone :-)

The cabinet is a Digital Compact 308 for 3 outside lines and 8 digital extensions without caller ID. The system uses M7208/7310 and possibly 7324 phones. If you fetch $100 for it on eBay, I'd be amazed. Here's a stolen link to someone who has a description of one.

Go to your personal greeting and press delete twice and press rls this will delete your personal greeting and you can re-record your new personal greeting I hope this helps you!

The 9516 is not a visual call waiting (VCW) phone..meaning that you will not be able to view the name and number of the second caller. You must purchase an external call display box (arround $10) , but make sure this is VCW capable.

You are probably inadvertantly did a busy station signal to sta 24 and are still queued up to it. Call 24 AND have them ANSWER to clear it. You may have to do it multiple time as most systems will allow 8 stations in the queue

Does it light up? Does the speakerphone work? Have you swapped the cords and handsets?

I'm have trouble seeing through the internet and do not know what make or model you are referring to? Have you tried being ON THE HANDSET and then pressing the handsfree/speakerphone key?

Make sure its plugged in right.

Try swapping them with phones that are working. Make sure they are not in DND as well.
