Becker mexico
repairs are always iffy and as the cost of a new card is low it would be better just to buy a new card.

if your computer came with a motherboard disc the sound drivers could be on it

Microphone problems
In the right hand bottom corner you will find an icon of a loud speaker. The volume icon. Select it and here you will find the mic muted. Unmute the mic and all will hear you.

I would like my laptop back to where was before the hard drive crashed
The short answer is - No, you are in bad luck. :-(
The longer version: It depends on what really happened to your drive. If the content was deleted by a command (in Windows-Explorer or ....) and you did not write to disk since then, there are programmes to recover most of your files.
If the drive is mechanically damaged, your chances are very low.
If the disk just stopped working you could give it to a data restore company. Some of them can even take the disks out in a "clean-room", mount them to a drive with new heads and retrieve the data. Beware, this is a very expensive way!

Have you actually purchased Visio, or are you just trying to get it for free?
As a software guy, I would have to advise against piracy. :)
There are several ways to get Visio for cheap. If you are a student, there are discounted versions available online and in stores. Also, you can check with your school for even cheaper options sometimes. Try the university bookstore if available. Or a Computer Science department maybe.
If you are working, and your company uses MS Office applications, find out if they have the "Microsoft at Home" program. You can get MS Office applications for really cheap that way. I can get Visio through my company's "Microsoft at Home" program for a few dollars.
My Employer Says They Are Going To Cut My Wages. Can They?
If you are in the middle of a contract, then cutting your wages is almost certainly a violation of your employment law rights. While I am by no means an expert on this matter, I did have a similar issue years ago - mid-contract wage cuts - and I hired an
employment attorney to fight the case on my behalf. It turned out that my employer was basically looking to scare people into taking the wage cut.
They got into some pretty serious legal trouble for their transgression, and nothing happened to me in terms of wage cuts after that. If you are between contracts, your employer can re-negotiate your salary, but as far as I am aware, if you are in an agreed-upon contract, they cannot just decide to reduce your salary. If you want to settle matters, contest this action with support from a legal professional.
