Hard to say what the code is without knowing the model number of the remote and the brand of TV.

Click the link and select your model number from the dropdown, in this case, RCR3273 and then select your device from the dropdown. The codes are listed by manufacturer alphabetically. Find the codes for your brand of TV and try all of them.

Go to the Menu setting, and do a auto channel scan, it will automatically program it to NOT skip 3.

Make sure the device is on. Hold down the tv (or whichever device your trying to program) button and the power button simultaneously until the red light stays on solid. Then press the power button, it will flash one time, and keep pressing slowly letting it flash until the device turns off (mine took like 27 times, could be up to 100). Then press the stop button...and it is programmed.
