If the feature is supported, the corresponding tab is available on the Adjust Desktop Size and Position page. If only one feature is supported, then only the controls for that feature appear on the page and there are no other tabs.
Scaling
The scaling controls let you adjust the size of the desktop to best fit your screen. The configuration that you specify may be overridden by the settings in the Resize section.
Select a scaling mode
Aspect ratio: This setting expands the desktop as much as possible while maintaining the same dimensional proportions, or aspect ratio, as the original image. There may be some black borders, but you may prefer this setting to avoid distorting the image.
Full-screen: This setting stretches the desktop to fill the entire display screen.
No scaling: This setting leaves the display image in its original size and centres it on your screen resulting in a small though crisp image. A black border may appear around the display image.
Perform Scaling on
GPU: This causes the GPU to scale the desktop from the set resolution up to the native resolution timing.
Automatic: This setting uses a combination of display and GPU scaling to scale the desktop from the set resolution up to the native resolution timing.
Override the scaling mode set by games and programs
When this check box is checked, applications cannot change the scaling mode set on this page.
Preview
Under the Preview section you can select a resolution and refresh rate, and then the preview image shows how full-screen applications will appear on the screen, using the selected scaling configuration. The available refresh rates will depend on the scaling method selected.
Resize
Some displays, such as HDTVs, extend the edges of the display beyond the visible borders of the screen. This overscan is intended to hide broadcast data that is not intended for the viewer. This results in hiding useful parts of the screen for non-broadcast content, such as the Windows desktop.
The best way to resize the screen in order to view the entire content is to use the controls provided by the display hardware.
The resize controls on the NVIDIA Control Panel are provided in case satisfactory results cannot be achieved using the controls on the display.
Position
Use the arrow buttons in the image under Adjust the desktop position to adjust the position of your desktop or image on your screen.

If you are going to DIY and already try the monitor with another PC, and have proper tools and know safety precaution then please read on:
Most common failures in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply (they should be replaced in a set), blown fuses; poor solder joints, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). You will need to open it up and inspect the inside, see example of failed monitors to get some ideas what to look for: http://s807.photobucket.com/albums/yy352/budm/

MONITOR COLOR TURNED GREEN
Good Day
Please check first your video cable, or VGA cable, if possible use another one.
Check the VGA pins if there have some bent pins or missing or cut pins.
Check the condition of your video card.If you are running from on board Video card try using a PCI or Agp Card depending on *********** board. If you are using a PCI or AGP card try removing it first and run from the onboard if that would still run on green screen.
Green or any other colred display output may arise from loose cabling or defective Vido outputs, also you may try to re-seat the video card, if you have any, by pressing the video card in its slots, gently assuring that it is seated on its slot perfectly.
If any of the above does not work, try using another video card. Maybe your card is damaged.
Hope this helps, Thank you for using Fixya.

Oblong pictures
The issue here is that you have a low resolution picture and a high resolution display. Windows is "stretching" the smaller, low resolution picture so that it will fit across the larger area, thus distorting it.
Right click on the desktop and select properties. Go to the Desktop tab. There should be an item there for position. Is it set to Stretch? If it is, then this is causing the problem. Set it to center, and it should appear fine.
If you want to keep this from happening:
1) User higher resolution pictures.
2) Turn down the resolution on your screen (this can be done from the Settings tab of display properties).

No Video on Monito - Blue Power lite is on
Hello.
Sounds like the backlight inverters or CCFL tubes are at fault.
Turn the monitor on with it connected to a known good SVGA signal source that is sure to have video. (Like the computer when it is operating.)
Hold a flashlight to the screen of the monitor and see if the faint video can be seen through the screen.
If the video is faintly present on the monitor screen using this method of illumination, then either the CCFL inverters / Inverter board has failed, or the CCFL tubes themselves have gone bad. (CCFL = Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp)
This should give you a better idea of how to proceed, repair or replace.
If it is the inverters or CCFL, Repair costs for a DYI project could range from $70 to $120 depending on the level of your expertise and parts availability.
Good luck with your quest.

How to fix pink colur screen on sync master 794 mg samsung
The connecting cable or the video card would be the first suspects. Try a different cable to connect the monitor first, if there is no change, the video card in the computer would be second to look at. Can simply connect a different monitor to your computer to troubleshoot this. If the testing monitor works, it will be the graphics card that is the issue.
