Tv switches itself off then back on again
Hi.
If the tv set is still under warantee get it sorted before gtee runs out.
The problem is caused by cummunication error between ATV Micom and DTV Micom.
To correct this problem requires going in to service mode to make changes & updating the DTV firmware.
This will need to be done by a proffesional.

Can't use "plug&play" from TV menu
I can switch between shop mode & normal by holding down the menu key on the side of the screen, just press it till it changes.

Flicking chanels by itself
It either has a sticking switch (usually caused by using cleaning solutions on the screen) or the power relay is faulty or the remote control is faulty.
Take the batteries out to check the remote.

Poor picture
Dynamic mode will give you a brighter picture. The energy saving mode runs the lamp at a more efficient level that saves energy at the cost of a slightly darker picture. Based upon your description, I'd guess that the lamp is nearing the end of its useful life. Plan on changing the lamp soon. When you do so, place the set back to standard mode and energy saving.

Samsung 32" LCD TV
Attention, noisy pictures on dynamic image does not mean to change the main board, most of the time , the panel need to be replaced, not the main board.

Samsung tv prob
My daughter's LCD which is barely used started showing horizontal coloured lines.I read that the LCD's are vunerable to static/charge build up and also power surges.
I unplugged my daughter's TV and it is now working properly however we now unplug the TV when it's not in use.
I was considering purchasing a larger model for the faily room but Not going to waste my money until they improve this rechnology.
Good luck to all.
Cheers!
