Tv will not turn on

Most LCD TV's the problem would be a bad power supply. digging more deeper a bad capacitor.

I would suggest you have a estimate for repair done on it. OR if you like and you feel you have the skill open the unit up yourself and examine the capacitors do not touch them as they have high voltages. If you do not feel safe doing this please consult a expert in your local area/

Sounds like the issue is with the set top box of your cable or direct tv provider. Please swap that receiver for the equivalent or a more updated version. If the problem persists. Verify that all inputs on television is correct. It should match. Output of source( digital receiver, dvd player) to Input( television ). Make sure all is secure. Good luck

Sky wired up by a basic splitter in loft want to use red eye.

Your vocabulary is not helping I will make some assumptions.
1 you have an antenna setup and want to have three tvs use it.
2 I don't know what sky is so I am going to ignore it.

from the antenna you will run a short length of rfcoaxial to a splitter\booster witch is powered this will allow you to split the signal to 4 or two or three tvs your choice. all tvs will need coax or rf cable run to them and btw 300 ohm cable is not called rf
coaxial cable is preferred because of its signal insulating properties and its longer life expectancy and all tvs today have coaxial inputs on them not 300 ohm.

I need to hook external speakers to a samsung

Hi.

You need to connect the speakers to the Red and White connectors located near to the headphone jack socket, in the connection panel. It is the connector indicated as audio output. The one near to the red arrow in diagram below:

If the speakers have no connectors, you will need to buy connectors like this ones : AV Gold - Speaker connector

LE40M87BD lcd tv will not switch on.it just

If you have soem expertise, and at your own risk, it may be a faulty electrolitic capacitor inside the unit. If a capacitor is bulgling or emitting black/brown gunge from a raised dome, (like a faulty tin of food) this is a likely culprit unless the switch itself is faulty. Doing this yourself with probabaly invalidate any remaining guarantee. With care, the most difficult thing is not to break the plastic surround.

The only option you have with a standard DirecTV box is using composite or s-video connection to your TV. These are much better options than using the RF tuner input and will give you stereo audio. Please take a few moments to rate my answer. Thanks...

Broken screen

If it's physically broken then it's not repairable and must be replaced.

It's not even that straightforward though as the 32" LCD screen unit is the single most expensive component in manufacturing your tv and the supply and installation of a new screen will cost as much if not more than the cost of a brand new model.

If you have accidental damage insurance then now is the time to consider making a claim.

I HAVE A 32INC, SAMSUNG LCD, AND THE SCREEN IS HAS

Sounds like there was physical damage to the LCD panel. This can only be fixed by replacing the whole LCD panel which will cost you around $600 just for the part. A repair shop will usually charge around $200 for labor. The only alternative is to purchase a new TV which will usually cost about the same price and will come with a one year warranty.
