Samsung tv LN40B530p7fxza sound Volume stuck on Max.
As a repair man I always hated that--had to disconnect the speakers and use a scope. Most likely reason is the volume up control---a micro switch beneath the manual button on the set is bad. These are momentary switches--only supposed to work when touched/pushed---they will feel good but have failed and are making contact all the time instead of just when pushed.Only way to prove or disprove this is get at the keyboard and in your case locate (they can with set off be checked for resistance--should be no reading) is locate that volume up switch and unsolder it.If problem is gone (your ears feel better) you have two choices : live with the switch removed and operate for that function with the remote.Usually they only sell the complete circuit board with all the buttons for a set.I would if could control volume just live with it gone.Let me know if questions.

Samsung tv ln40b530p7fxza
Have the remote checked--it can be tested to see if it is the problem--if remote is good but does not work on set the remote receiver may be bad inside the TV.Most shops and some electronic places have a remote tester--point remote at it and press the buttons and if working a light reacts---some digital cameras will also if on react on the little screen they have if this is done.Either the remote or the receiver in the set is most common.

Lf on bottom &vice versa.
Either a bad board is causing this or what you should try is to call the Mfr. to see if this is a common issue on this model and to ask if there is a software up grade for this model available ......

Hum on tv
Your problem is very simply. You have a bad ground. You need to purchase a plug adapter. The AC cord you plug into the wall. Must change from a 3 prong to a 2 prong. You can get this at the 99 cents store.
Best regards

The sound completely fades during
Hello,
Let verify first to narrow down to where the problem can be. First, check the on screen sound set up menu to make sure the speakers are not set to OFF. If the setting is OK, then attach the powered PC speakers to the Audio Line out RCA jacks to see if you can get the sound there, if you do, then the problem can be in the power amp circuits, if you do not get the sound at RCA jacks, then the problem can be in the sound processor circuit. To get the sound repair, it can be from $150 and up, so if you can put up with using the good set of Powered PC speakers which actually give better sound than the tiny speakers inside the TV, I would keep using it that way, you may want to find out if the on screen sound setup will allow you to set the audio line out to be VARIABLE which means the sound output feeding the PC speakers can be varied using the TV remote control, then all you have to do is to set the PC volume to about half way up and set the TV volume to what ever you want..
I hope that this will help solve the problem.....

I bought a new Samsung
You usually hear "weak or no signal" when the tv's input is set to air. Check to see if changing the input might help. Or if you are using an antenna to get your tv, then maybe your antenna is not powerful enough. The new digital signal is weaker than the analog, so antennas that once worked might not work as well now. Hope this helps!

Samsung TV won't turn on
Sounds like the infamous capacitor problem! File a complaint with the BBB (like I just did) and then write Samsung Electronics America and complain to them (as I will be doing soon). Others are blogging that they have had success in getting Samsung to pay for repairs. Here's their address:

Samsung flat screen will not power on
What you have wrong with your tv is in the power supply board, it is a very common problem which you can fix yourself for around $30 this is a MAJOR Samsung problem and thousands of people are having this problem. What you need to do is deenergize your tv and lay it face down on a table so you can work on it. Use a philips screwdriver to remove all the screws on the back cover of the tv make sure to remember where they go for when you put it back together. Remove the back cover and follow the two wired from where your tv power cord comes in and in the middle of your tv they will plug into a board, this is your power supply board. Look for blown capacitors, also check the fuses the tops will be bulging upward and caps have writing on them like 10v 1000uf or 2200 uf and 3300uf are the most common. What you will need to do is replace these with a 16v cap but be sure the uf number is the same, and you need 105 degree rated caps. There is also a negative side to the capacitor which is marked with a stripe and a shorter leg on the bottom, these have to go in the same way or you will blow the board, remove the board with screwdriver and disconnect all wires, now you will need your tools solder, soldering iron, and preferably a solder ****** to remove the old bad caps here is a youtube link that shows u step by step just go there and type samsung power supply repair, and whether you have a vizio, philips or another model that this is posted on they all have samsung power supplies in them so if you are having power problems this is your fix, you should be able to get all your parts at radio shack or on the web. Thank you and votes are welcome and if you cant find the parts get to me and I can help you get them

Most possible that the memory board has encountered some loose connection in the connectors or inthe IC mounts.Open and check on all connectors, look for possible dry soldering or loose joints inthe microprocessor section or in the mP section regulator supply.
Use a good solderring iron to solder all such suspected points.
test and repeat once again. Since the fault is intermittent, you will have to keep doing the soldering in the suspected sections and then trying to trial.
If the fault seems to wander, it might be an IC possible the memory,or the crystal in the processor.
Hope you check this out.

Has anyone come up with
I have searched all over the net for you, BUT have NOT been able to find anything at all sorry.
I fear that's because there are NONE. You will simply have to get an original remote, OR a learning remote possibly may work.
to get another original remote you simply contact Samsung head Office, and they will direct you to the relevant place to purchase one. Either that or try eBay etc.
