You should be able to find one at any electronics store and yes, you should be asking for a data cable.
My usb didnt work .. everytime i connect my usb
OK well simply totally remove ALL USB devices from PC & then remove all USB driver software from Device Manager, & also Uninstall the driver/software, then Reboot, wait a bit after reboot, and the system will be busy installing a NEW USB layer, NOW, INSTALL any software again that came with your unit. IF asked plug it in. If NOT DON'T. After the software has installed, reboot, now wait until at the desktop again NOW plug in your device again.it should be detected and a dong-dong sound should be heard, now your device should show up in My Computer as a "Drive" and you should be able to work with it via the software you installed from the CD/DVD that came with your unit.
Mp3 not recognized by windows

You can try to format the mp3 player.
Go through: Setting>Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Computer Management>Disk management>
Try to format it with fat files system.

MP3 player suddenly not connecting
Try reflashing the firmware for your device you can find the latest firmware and flashing utilities from the
Coby's website. Make sure that you back your music up first because when you do this you are setting it back to factory settings.
My mp3 player wont turn on
Try resetting the device it?s usually a small pinhole on the back or side of the device try holding that in for about 10 seconds
