Sansa clip is not running at all, windows is unable to format

Try holding down the On/Off button for at least 20 seconds. If this doesn't start it up then your unit may be faulty.

I have a SanDisk Sansa how do I download the music from my Imac to the Sansa, I've connected it to the Imac but I don't see how to downlaod the music

Is the SanDisk showing as a drive on the Imac? You should be able to drag files from the Music folder to the Sansa player to copy them. (You can't connect to ITunes and download directly to the player.) I hope this helps. Cindy Wells

How does one turn it on?

There's a slide switch on the right edge of the machine. Slide it up (away from the headphone jack), hold it for a second, then release.

Big gray spot on screen

Unfortunately, It's likely that your screen has been irreparably damaged. Probably, pressure was applied to the screen and ruined that part of it. If you like to fix electronics, it may be possible to buy a non-working Sansa on eBay, open the case and replace the screen. You can probably continue to use the player without fixing the gray spot. If it bothers you, the easiest solution would be to get another player....

Sandisk Sansa E250 screwup

Hi, you might be able to get back the operating software by using a software repository (ie softonic or softpedia) or the Sandisk website to upload the installation material onto your music player. Then after the player is functioning properly again, you can download your past music to the player from your computer. Thank you.
