Cannot copy music from my media player on my sandisk memory card
I have not posted a help request, so I do not know how the picture is tied to this question ? If your cell phone has a standard SD memory card, there are a couple of ways to "transfer" pictures and music.
1. Your SD chip MAY have come with a larger carrier to fit into some of the computer SD slots that have been provided over the past few years for cameras, etc ? Once plugged in, your computer should recognize it like a small USB flash drive, then it's a matter of cut-n-paste.
2. Alternative is to go to Fry's Electronics and pick up a USB-to-Your Cell Phone adapter cable.. mine, for my Samsung Gravity was $15.00. Then, at least on my phone, I have the option to switch the USB connector from Modem to Storage drive, pick the latter. Your cell phone manufacturer, like my Samsung, may have a utility program that allows you to "manage" your phone.. contacts, pictures, ringtones, music, etc.. cut-n-paste again.. mine allows me to sync the phone to my Outlook for constant updating, etc..
3. Go to Fry's or ? and pick-up an inexpensive "USB Bluetooth Adapter". Plug it into a USB port on your PC, install the software, have it detect your phone, authorize it, now you're wireless vs corded.. follow the remaining steps in #2 above.
As an added note.. if you have a laptop, and your cell service has an Internet package for your phone, for around $20 month, I have a Highspeed ( 460 kbps ) wireless ( via bluetooth ) or the cord, modem.. AND you can still receive calls ( at least on mine ). AND it doesn't require a Hot Spot, only cell reception.
