I think it could be due to virus activity. Due to virus, there are few problem makes,such as the contents of the drive will be hidden, that's why user can't see or the files and the space available for use is less than the capacity and also can not open the drive or can not delete any file.

Your pc already affected by virus ,you will need another pc to put the pen drive.then you will format the usb drive.Actually an auto-run program is running in your pc you can manually remove the virus .follow the instruction.

It is suggested that go to FOLDER OPTIONS - and select SHOW HIDDEN FILES. It may show the hidden files. If can not show hidden file (tools >folder option >view> check on show hidden file>check off hide protected and check off hide extension) now can see all hidden file in c drive. If not think......

scroll to disk drives if you can see your drive + to expand right click you should see options update driver disable uninstall scan for hardware changes

Follow these steps:

1. Go to START > Right-click My Computer > PROPERTIES
2. On the tabs, click Hardware > DEVICE MANAGER
3. Press the + sign next to the Universal Serial Bus controllers.
4. Doubble-click the first one
5. When the new window comes up, click Drvers from the tabs, and click "uninstall"
6. Repeat step 5 for all devices
7. Restart your computer.

After your computer restarts, plug in your flash drive and it should work.

If that doesn't work, then the USB ports on your computer are dead. You can try to get new USB hardware at a computer store to plug into your computer (THIS IS NOT THE SAME AS A USB HUB!)

You plug the card in the reader, you open Computer, you open the Removable device that corresponds to the card and you cut and paste the photo files from there to wherever you want on your pc.

Then you have to contact the manufacturer if its not working on any computer...if its under warranty iy can be replaced for free

right click on the photo's select copy navigate back to the usb drive right click select paste or select the top photo hold the mouse cursor then select the bottom photo then drag the photos to your usb drive then drop them
or if you are downloading photos from the internet
once it starts downloading windows will ask whether you want to run or save it
a browse option will open you can save it into a folder in my documents or another device or a usb device
