Missing disk space

Hello b gratzek what do you mean with missing disk space ? ex, Windows just ways that you have about 1.8 gigs of free space ? if this is the question , its because the filesystem organization , it will use some disk space to store the files information , and also 1 gigabyte its 1024 bytes , so if you divide 2000 / 1024 the result will be something like 1952,...... got it ?

I have a sandisk usb "mac format" and want to open

Do you mainly use it on a Mac? Do you want to use it for both Mac and PC? If it's the latter, you can format your USB drive on your mac using disk utility and formatting it as ExFAT. This way it will be recognized on both Mac and PC and you can save files onto it as well. Where if you formatted it to Mac only you will only be able to write to it on Macs and not PCs. Hope that makes sense

NO WORKING IN MY PC

Depending on the reason for data loss, there are cheaper solutions out there. If it is only a logical data loss, the price for recovery can be as low as $29.99 -- see this site: http://htcilabs.com/services/data-recovery-services/
