It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and time. Even though you can make it right, it will cost around an amount equal to the cost of a new board; including the cost of (spare parts + service charge) More to say, most of the spare parts to it will be difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size.

NO SOUND
To help people who want to help perhaps you could give more detail.
1. Did it ever produce sound, has it suddenly stopped working
2. Have you tried different inputs for example a blu ray or DVD payer or games console
3.have you disturbed the cabling or changed settings?
4. have you tried looking at the audio menu to check nothing has been changed?
5. Have you tried headphones
6. Have you tried feeding the audio to something external?
7. What were the circumstances leading to the fault?
Tv stuck on record
check your record settings in menu . put them all back or click on reset.
Problem with color. no reds or greens
Check this part. if the wheel stops moving you will only get one colour its stopped on. dust can stop the wheel moving or the motor could of failed.
Lines across bottom of screen
are they blinking lines or just straight across from one side to the other blinking lines is the dlp chip going ( they cost a bit to replace)
no blinking then the mirror could of moved in the back of the tv, happens if the tv is not on level ground. or the dlp board needs adjustment ( happens over time as the plastic moves when hot to cold all the time)
Coloer is messing up
are you meaning the fan ? replace with same type 12v ball type. same wires. most pc shop's carry the fan in stock.
USED SCREEN
you can buy the screen from a tv company repairs and service place. or you can find a dead tv. all the screens on projector tv's are made from the same stuff. what you have to decide is if you want glass or perspex. you can even make your own screen if you wanted a large sheet of perspex and a plastic coating off one way light sheet. the sheets can cost a bit though. most company's just throw away the screens. so you may be luck if you find one in the skip. you can find a 56inch etc just cut it to size of yours.
No sound picture is great
on the main avi board there is a series of capacitors check these. if you have the tv on and have the sound up on full do you hear a humming sound ? or a crackle sound. also try the external speakers out you will need to change the settings on the tv menu to activate this and try some computer speakers on them see if this side of the audio board is faulty as well.
Picture want show and sound comes on and goes off
check the power board for duff capacitors, sounds like you are not getting the correct voltage to the parts on the main board. any bowed capacitors need changing for like to like, if any 50v type is faulty change to 63v or 65v same uf. dont change that.
I have a hitachi 46f500 projection tv will not work on my new dital antenna
can you explain please. also check the aerial cable use a meter and check that the Arial is wired in right . as sometime it will be down to the Arial than the tv. even a thin peace of the coax cable may be touching the live in the Arial this will make you not get a signal. if the tv was fine before then i would say the arial wire is the fault.
Toshiba 52HM95 lights blinking
Mine was having the same problem. Just heard back from the shop and they said it's the light engine. They want $750 to fix!!!
Red/green lights both blink and
Are the red and green lights blinking at the same rate or not? If the green light is blinking every 3 seconds and the red light is blinking every 1/2 second, the lamp door is not properly secured. If both lights are blinking at 1 second intervals, try replacing the lamp. If a new lamp doesn't solve the problem, the TV needs service.
I hope this helps.
