My Hitachi lcd projector has a green light
This usually means there's a loose physical connection somewhere. Check all the cables attached to the outside of the projector. For example, any HDMI cables, USB cables, Computer Monitor cable, etc.

Resetting the air filter timer
Hiya there, just worked out how to reset the filter timer so for those that need to know here's the solution;
Bring up the menu and go right the way down to "Option" where it shows you the lamp and filter hours.
Next highlight/select the filter timer section and while its on there hold the RESET button on the remote for 5 seconds.. this then pops up with a resert option and hey, 0h again, good as new! :-)
Oh and if you dont have a remote, just hold the right arrow button instead for 5 seconds in place of the reset and follow instructions as above!
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Omar.

I changed my desktop background and now my projector will not display
I would start by cycling this through the f4 option again first. Next I would connect the projector to the computer and then booting up the computer. Next I would disconnect the projector...turn it off, connect the projector again and then power up the projector. Try every combination of sequencing to get the computer and projector to talk to each other. It would not be a bad idea to change out the cable and try a new one as well. If it is a ceiling mounted projector then connect straight to the projector and try that.
