Hitachi DZ-MV780E DVD Camcorder Questions & Answers
I have hitachi dz-mv780e
There is a faulty loading setting in the mechanism and so when the power is switched the motor moves to eject and do not come to the PARK/REST position.
So you will need to open the camcorder to reset the mechanism. check inside of the tray for any objects that have fallen into and blocked the drives. Keeping the door open tap on the body to release any objects.

I have a Hitachi mega
If the camcorder does finalize the disc? What type of disc is it? Some of the disc that work in that camcorder like a ram disc will not work in a regualr dvd player, only use -r disc's if you want to make a disc to use elsewhere. The other option is that the dvd camcorder needs the dvd drive replaced if it is still available. I hope this helps, let me know if you have any other questions. There is also a firmware update available for that camcorder.

Finalise
It should be finalized immediately after recording. Your camcorder has some information buffered into the camera. By finalizing it it ensures that it is completed as well as making the DVD playable on most dvd players.

Help with disks
I'm not familiar with the camcorder, but DVD-R are write once disks. They cannot be modified or erased. If the camcorder supports the operations you're describing they would only work on DVD-RW disks.
Good luck.

Hello, my Hitachi VM-H675LA is having some problems.
Hi,
Please use the yellow pages website to find a camera shop that can help fix your camera. If that does not work, you can take it to your local Geeksquad/Bestbuy and they can work on the camera for you. Otherwise, you might also call Hitachi directly to ask them about the nearest repair shop that you could send the camera to.
Thank you.
