My JVC AV32L2EU (interiart) telly
Hi,
I'm not sure about your expertise level, can you test components with multimeter?
Unplug tv from wall socket, check Horizontal output transistor Q521 (2SC5552) near flyback transformer, this big transistor can be shorted and could be cause of problem.
Let me know if you have prior electronics stuff repair experience to guide you further.
Thanks.

Sounds like a failed or at least failing power supply / power board inside the TV.
Unfortunately this is a very difficult repair, and unless you are an
electrician I would not recommend attempting it. You will need to
contact a local TV repair person in your area. If you think it may
still be under warranty please contact the manufacturer to file an
RMA. If you happened to purchase the TV with a major credit card (not
a debit card) there is a good chance it may still be under the free
extended warranty most credit cards place on electronics. Please
contact your credit card company to inquire if they do this, and they
will be able to file the claim and get you a refund for the TV.
So sorry that I don't have better news but it is definitely a power issue internally.
Thanks

Can't play dvd player on JVC tv; I don't have a JVC remote.
I hooked up a Pioneer DVD player to my TV and when I play a DVD the volume cannot be controlled by the TV. It just plays at one level and on the louder side. When I'm watching regular TV and the DVD player is on and playing a disc I start to hear the DVD soundtrack at the same time as the whatever I'm watching on TV. I should not be able to hear anything until I switch over to Video 1. Any suggestions?
Blank box
Turn off the Closed Captioning feature. On channels that don't have closed captioning, you just get a blank box.
Distorted Picture Proportions
well i beleive ur tv still have a warranty since it is purchased less than a month ago according to you. i suggest that u use it and have it check with their technician. it seems that there is an internal problem with your tv, particularly the vertical circuits. did u try to hook up another tv?
this symptom is caused by a poor vertical linearity wherein the image is compressed or stretched at the top or bottom of the raster
Delay with channel surfing
Two things I would check before contacting JVC. In the on screen menu does it have a setting under tuner controls to disable AFC? It sounds like the tuner is seeking the proper channel frequency before it locks it in and displays a picture. If there is no such setting, then I would try a channel autoprogram in the cable mode. I'm assuming you have no cable or satellite TV box hooked up to the set. JVC is usually a pretty good brand name.

My JVC TV has an onscreen remote that doesn't let us use the actual remote what do I do to gat it out?
Hello! If your JVC TV is displaying an onscreen remote and you're unable to use the actual remote, you can try the following steps to resolve the issue:
- Power cycle the TV: Turn off the TV and unplug it from the power source. Wait for a few minutes, then plug it back in and turn it on. This can often reset any temporary issues and restore the functionality of the actual remote.
- Replace the remote batteries: Check the batteries in your remote control and make sure they have enough power. If the batteries are low, replace them with fresh ones and try using the remote again.
- Check the remote control sensor: Ensure that there are no obstructions between the remote control and the TV's remote control sensor. Clean the remote control sensor on the TV with a soft, lint-free cloth to remove any dust or debris that may be interfering with the signal reception.
- Reset the TV to factory settings: If the issue persists, you can try resetting the TV to its factory settings. Keep in mind that this will erase any personalized settings and restore the TV to its original configuration. Refer to the user manual or the manufacturer's website for instructions on how to perform a factory reset on your specific JVC TV model.
- Contact JVC customer support: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, it's recommended to reach out to JVC customer support for further assistance. They will have access to more specific troubleshooting steps and can guide you through the process of resolving the issue with the onscreen remote.
Keep in mind that the exact steps and options may vary depending on your specific JVC TV model. Refer to the user manual or contact JVC customer support for model-specific guidance.
