The pin stopped going up and down even though the engine moves.

You might try to fix it yourself. try to copy and paste this link. http://www.thriftyfun.com/tf/Repair/Machines/Sewing_Machines/Repairing-a-Sewing-Machine.html You might want to just replace it with a new one. OR see if your local repair shop has a good used machine for sale with a guarantee.

Try, A1 Sewing Machine Specialists, website is at the end, copy and paste URL. Lots of choices. I have never had occasion to use them but I liked their site, it was easy to use and the price for each foot was listed with the foot not on another page. http://www.a1sewingmachine.com/euro+pro-feet-for-sewing-machines.htm

How do I remove the cover from the left side of the machine?

That button in the middle covers a small hole, pry that out with a fingernail, thin screw driver. At the bottom of the hole is a screw that holds the cover in place.

Where to oil my euro

Check your owners manual. Most machines like Brother, Euro-Pro and a few other budget machines recommend that you DO NOT oil them.

The reason is that most of us want to "grease it up real good" but oil when left to set can become varnish like and seize up your machine.

If you think it's time for oil, it's best that you take it to a qualified sewing machine technician and have him clean, oil and adjust it for you. While you are there, ask where to oil for future reference if it's recommended at all.

Need to know how to properly thread , the problem

Check that the thread is tight around the bobbin. Make sure that the bobbin is in the right way around - the bobbin thread should double back on itself coming out of the bobbin holder. The bobbin tension adjustment is the small screw in the plate on the bobbin case that the thread passes under as it comes off the bobbin and goes out. This might not be exactly the same as yours but should give you an idea of the position.

Bobbin thread is losse

Try tightening the upper tension, if the tension is normally at 3...try at 5 or 6. threading of the top threads....incorrectly .....can be the issue too.

I have a euro- pro model 385x. Every time I try

The problem is likely the threading. Double check the threading, look twice or three times at the diagram. Even me, a tech sometimes threads a machine or serger wrong.

The needle will not catch

That sounds like a timing issue, you have to go to someone that has the expertise and the tools to do it right. You can call Euro-Pro at 1-800-361-4639 and ask if they have a warranty service center in your area.

How to get bobbin thread to come through to the

On a front loading bobbin the thread must be going over the top to the right clockwise and hanging down. Then take the bobbin case holding it so that the finger like thing is pointing up. Place your bobbin in the case and pull the thread up through the **** on the side until it snaps into the little hole at the top of the ****. Now turn the case around holding on the flat metal flap and wiggle the case in the bobbin case holder in the front of the machine with the finger still straight up and push gently until you hear it snap in place. Turn the hand wheel one complete turn holding the top thread under the presser foot to the left and you will see the thread going down to pick up the bobbin thread. If you have done the correctly and it still isn't picking up the thread then it is most likely a timing problem and should be fixed by a repairman. They have to line everything back up so that the hook on the bobbin case realigns with the needle so the stitches will lock. Usually when the fabric has been pulled too hard bending the needle or it hits the needle plate and gets out of alignment or someone runs over pins while sewing this causes the timing to be off. I hope I have answered your question. It's probably not anything you are doing wrong and was probably done before you got the machine. Let me know what happens or if you need any more help.
