Loose on bottom is usually caused by too loose tension on top thread, check top tension and thread is in the tension device.

Who told you that you needed a pc board? your neighbor.. or your Janome Tech? It may be a known issue... check with janome hotline.

Check and make sure your bobbin is unspooling in the correct direction.

You can never used oil to any MC machine. it will damaged the sensore of your machine.If possible just open head cover and clean broken thread from the movable part.

when your machine on your machine movable arm pushing a switch liver which will raise your feed dogs you can do one thing when your arm moves to the normal possision just given your finger to the upside movable are you see one long switch bar is there just push and see machine feed dogs will come out actualy that action to be done by arm only,you call one MC expart to resoved your problem permenetly.

yes, but since you said the machine is 7 years old, & used extensively, thenI suggest to have to machine serviced if it has not been.it could be a computer problem or mechanical problem

the machine needs to be check to see if it's a tension problem or timing

the tension dial may have went out & need to be checked at a sewing machine shop

it sounds like the machine needs to be serviced & the top tension needs to be checked

In the instruction book, it does not say that you need to oil your machine, but most dealers suggest oiling once every 8-10 hours of sewing.

You can put one drop of oil on the wick that is located under your bobbin case. If you don't have any get a bottle of sewing machine oil from your dealer or any sewing machine dealer close to you. Remember, you only need the smallest amount of oil.

You had to transfer the design into your memory card from your pc.
now,you can use your pc card adapter to transfer that design into your machine.

1 thing more understand that you transfer nothing into a thing like pc card adapter , you transfer it into memory card and make this memory card read to your machine by pc card adapter

i have checked and your machine supports .jef format so there is no compatibility issue.

see, The actual process is this

1.Included is a 256MB CompactFlash memory card to store your embroidery designs.
2.With the USB CompactFlash Reader/Writer, you will be able to download designs from the internet and save them to the memory card.
3.With the PC Card adapter, you will be able use the designs on the Janome 9500, Embroidery Machines.

I have had the same thing on my 11000 Janome. Asked the repair guy, but did not get an answer perfectly. It could be the mother board from what I gathered, it happens very infrequently but you loose everything and have to start over again. Very frustrating if you made any alterations to the pattern-I have learned to save everything in case it happens. Then I just start over but it is at least saved.
