The stitches wont interlock. We have threaded it

The first thing to check is that you have the correct needle for the machine. This machine is actually the same as the Singer model 20-U machine, which is a semi industrial machine. When you broke the first needle, you could have knocked the needle bar out of time. You can test this by inserting a new needle and lower it a little (about 16th") and try to manually pick up the thread. If it does pick it up, then put some fabric in and rotate the machine slowly by hand and see if it makes the stitches. If so, then the needle bar will have to be adjusted, or you are using the wrong sized needle. If you want, you can contact me at [email protected] and I will walk you through it.

My Empisal EM250 not sewing in zigzag

The spring needs to go back to where it came from. Unfortunately there is no parts schematic showing all the parts and where they go. You will either have to look inside for evidence of where it was, or take it to an Empisal service centre. https://www.google.com/search?q=Empisal+EM250+parts+schematic and Zig Zag fix videos https://www.google.com/search?q=Empisal+EM250+not+sewing+in+zigzag ..

Designer 1 touch screen is frozen, and I cannot calibrate because reverse button is also stopped working.

When the Designer 1 touch screen is frozen and unresponsive, preventing you from calibrating or using the reverse button, it can be frustrating. Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue: 1. Restart the Machine: - Turn off the Designer 1 embroidery machine and unplug it from the power source. - Wait for a few minutes before plugging it back in and turning it on. This can sometimes reset the system and resolve minor software glitches. 2. Check for Physical Obstructions: - Ensure that there are no physical obstructions on the touch screen that may be causing it to be unresponsive. Clean the screen gently with a soft, lint-free cloth to remove any dirt or debris. 3. Perform a Hard Reset: Performing a hard reset on the Designer 1 embroidery machine can help resolve software-related issues and reset the system to its default settings. Here is a general guide on how to perform a hard reset on the Designer 1 embroidery machine: A. Turn off the Machine: - Ensure that the Designer 1 embroidery machine is turned off and disconnected from the power source. B. Locate the Reset Button: - On some embroidery machines, including the Designer 1, there may be a small reset button located on the machine. - The reset button is typically a small, recessed button that may require a pin or a paperclip to press. C. Press the Reset Button: - Using a small pointed object like a pin or a paperclip, press and hold the reset button on the embroidery machine. - Hold the reset button for a few seconds (typically 10-15 seconds) to initiate the hard reset process. D. Release the Reset Button: - After holding the reset button for the specified time, release the button. E. Power On the Machine: - Plug the Designer 1 embroidery machine back into the power source and turn it on. - The machine should restart, and the hard reset process should be complete. F. Check Functionality: - Once the machine has restarted, check if the touch screen and other functions are responsive and working properly. - Test the touch screen, buttons, and other features to ensure that the hard reset has resolved the issue. (Please note that the exact steps for performing a hard reset may vary depending on the specific model and design of the Designer 1 embroidery machine. It is recommended to refer to the user manual or contact the manufacturer for specific instructions on performing a hard reset for your particular machine model.) If the hard reset does not resolve the issue with the frozen touch screen and unresponsive buttons on your Designer 1 embroidery machine, contact customer support or seek assistance from an authorized service center for further troubleshooting and repair. 4. Contact Customer Support: - If the touch screen remains frozen and unresponsive despite trying the above steps, it is recommended to contact the customer support service for the Designer 1 embroidery machine. - The customer support team can provide further guidance on troubleshooting the touch screen issue and may suggest additional steps to resolve the problem. 5. Professional Repair: - If the touch screen continues to be unresponsive and the machine is still under warranty, consider taking it to an authorized service center for repair. - Professional technicians can diagnose the issue and perform repairs if necessary to restore the functionality of the touch screen. It's essential to handle electronic devices like embroidery machines with care when troubleshooting issues to prevent any further damage. If you are unsure about performing any of the steps mentioned above, it's best to seek assistance from the manufacturer or a professional technician to avoid causing additional problems.

How to turn safety lock off on nx-400

Initially, the "safety device has been activated" error is usually caused by a jammed thread or fabric. 2 possible causes The upper thread has become tangled around the bobbin case, The needle is bent and hitting the needle plate, so the machine stops. To fix this error. 1, Unplug your machine, 2. Remove the needle ( I know it is in a down position and locked up) but you can be able to remove it. 3. After removing the needle, turn your hand wheel if still locked up or stiff. Remove your needle plate and remove all your threads both upper and lower. 4. Clean your bobbin area using a brush take a deep breath then blow. 5. After that, try to turn your hand wheel again, if the hand wheel moves freely, rethread your machine and replace your needle with a new one. Then try to sew a few stitches using a hand wheel (do not sew using a pedal) if the hand wheel creates stitches that is the time to sew using the pedal. If the problem is still there, you possibly have broken gear that needs to be replaced

Janome 6500. What is causing my top thread to be able to pull it right out?? Looks fine but can pull the thread right up through the sewing.

Question edited for clarity. Your tension is incorrect, either the top tension is too tight or the bottom tension is too loose. Tension is a delicate tug of war between top and bottom thread to get the hooked loop of thread dead centre in the pieces of material. The is also a slight possibility that you are using a need that is too large and making a hole that is too big for the thread, and is making it loose. The top video is the best one ever made in the history of sewing machines.
