My light went out of my Singer advance 7422. Does anyone know how to change it or where to buy the bulb? Thank you for your help.

Did it get put in bobbin winding mode, some how?

Loop and bunching underneath mean top tension is off.... or you've forgotten to put down the presser foot. Tighten top tension a bit and test...

Check the buttonhole switch ,if not there there is a microswitch on the bobbin winder that may be out of adjustment

I did not realize my La Belle sewing maching was really a Singer model. So I am planning to take it to the local Singer repair shop to see if the fly wheel may be repaired in order that my bobbin may wind up properly. Thanks. Love your site and i will keep you informed. Jean

Hi, your needle is in sideways. This machine is one of the few that has the needle eye facing you. make sure the bobbin winder spindle has been pushed to the rightif you've done that, & it doens't wind the bobbin then the machine will need to be checked

some machine, you have to push the bobbin winder spindle to theright so that it will wind the bobbin, I have to on mine.but if you've already done that then the machine needs to be checkedto see what wrong with the bobbin winder spindle
