Light goes out when I start to sew
This may or may not help.. first UNPLUG it..then unscrew the light bulb and look at the base of the bulb socket.. you should see a tang there ( small tab) that makes contact with the bulb.. sometimes that gets compressed to a point that it won't make electrical contact with the bulb or intermittent contact and the bulb flickers.. You may also have a loose wire on the socket terminals too.. Depending on your electrical skil level, you may or may not want to look into repairing that yourself.. Hope this helps..

Thread jamming at bobbin
Check to be sure the thread is not catching on the bottom of the bobbin. If it is, replace the bobbin because it is sprung. If it is not catching there, then you need to check your tension to see that it is working properly.
Normal 0 MicrosoftInternetExplorer4
/* Style Definitions */ table.MsoNormalTable {mso-style-name:"Table Normal"; mso-tstyle-rowband-size:0; mso-tstyle-colband-size:0; mso-style-noshow:yes; mso-style-parent:""; mso-padding-alt:0in 5.4pt 0in 5.4pt; mso-para-margin:0in; mso-para-margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:10.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman";}. Pull the thread through the tension assemblyand test it to make sure the tension is working correctly.
(To do this test, adjust your tension setting to normal or medium or 5 orsomething in the middle. Raise the presser foot and pull the thread through thetension. It should pull easily!! Lower the presser foot and pull the thread. Itshould pull noticeably harder.) If it doesn't do this, you need to remove the thread or lint that is stuck between the tension discs. Open them with a small screwdriver and clean them out.
If this doesn't solve your problem, remove the bobbin case and check the hook for rough spots.. If you find some, buff with an emery stick until smooth.

Singer 7462 buttonholer
try adjusting the size, see if it changes the result and go from there, you might also want to ask other experts, sewing machines are not my speciality.

I have a singer touchtronic
You could have the bobbin in backwards???
You may want to try switching it around. You can always download a manual online they are about $5-10 and show you exactly how to thread your machine.

The threading is getting tangles
Have you tried downloading a manual online? Which machine do you have? It sounds like the bottom bobbin may be in the machine backwards.
But I am certainly not an expert.

My Singer 2639 Bobbin case
Hi, I used to have the same problem. I pulled the whole bobin casing out, cleaned it oiled it. When I put it back in, I made sure the actual bobin was turing the right direction so the cotton didnt snag and pull casing up.
If you havent already tried this give it a go.Its amazing how much gunk gets in there.

My phaff industrial machine won't
hi my names anela . here a little solution for you to try. take the spool out of its case and place the case on a peice of paper draw around the case, and cut out. then cut out a smaller circle in the middle. and place back into the spoolcase this should help.
if not. then you prob have the needle in the wrong way round turn your needle so the long ridge is facing inwards . thanks angela

Needle thread frays and breaks
hi my names angela ive been a seamstess all my life. and it seems there could be a number of soulutions to your problem.first check your needle is in the correct way with the long ridge of the needle facing inwards.
second check you have the thread threaded correctly and it isnt twisted around twice anywere. and check that it pulls quite freely with ur foot lifted.
third. it could be flaw with ur spool case check it isnt damaged by running your finger along the edges if its catching u can file it down a little with a nail file.
fourth it could be your spool is not high enough in the case. so place ur case on a peice of paper and cut around a circle cut a smaller circle inside and insert it into ur spoolcase if your thtead is pulling to tight then you dont need that solution.
well i hope i was useful to you angela,,

Im pretty sure i have
angle the bottom might be a mess but it is the top thread that
you see balled up .Pull the top thread and make sure there is tension on it ,if not check the thread is between the discs and there is nothing else between them .if this is ok there is something stopping the top thread from being pulled back up
through the needle plate to form a good stitch,if you can turn by hand and watch where it is catching you might be able to solve it.

I have an Aldi Delta
sarah if the top tension is to tight it might slip stitches but as always when there is a problem with stitching you should change the needle and make sure it is in right.
Taking the needle plate of and cleaning with a fine brush around the bobbin and feeders will help and should be done regular.
