Lg 3850dd3006e makes noise

I had the same issue with my LG it has a stainless steel impeller the grinds up the food particles and if one of the veins get slightly bent it causes that problem. The tack took it out straightened it out until the new part arrived and it worked fine. He did return to replace it but I don't think it was needed

Makes a whistling noise when in use

I had a problem with my LG dishwasher and there was a small stainless steel impeller that they had to replace to stop the high pitch noise. I think this impeller grinds up any food particles. The tech said if one of the veins bend it causes this issue.

Displaying code IE

Hi jakkirker,

The IE error you are seeing means Inlet Error, this shows because your dishwasher is not getting enough water through in a specific time frame - Please check the following:

- Is the Inlet hose kinked in any way? (This could lead to low water pressure to the solenoid) Straighten it.
- Is the Inlet hose filter (Found when unscrewing the hose form the inlet on the machine) dirty? Clean it.
- Is the tap completely open? (Low pressure)
- Has your home gone under any plumbing alterations? (This could have also caused low water pressure - Too little water)

If all of these come back OK, and it still gives the same problem, I'd suggest replacing the inlet valve (Found on the opposite side of the inlet pipe - inside your Dishwasher), could also be a pressure switch (Found at the bottom of your Dishwasher - accessible from the bottom).

This should solve any problems.

Kind Regards :-)

Lg dishwasher 14aw2 Says 0E Dishwasher still

Dear Jester Stanf,
Your drain pump may not be working anymore. Check the outlet hose and let it lie on the floor to drain most water out of the dishwasher, then remove the Top Panel (fastened by 2 screws at the back) and then the side panels. A normal Dishwasher should be attached to the sump.
You can test it by applying direct power to it, its alternating current so it doesn't matter which pin you attach live to and which neutral. If it turns, then inspect the machine for a loose wire towards the pump, if it does not turn sideways, or does it strangely then replace the pump. You can get it from a reputable appliance spare outlet.

Kind Regards :-)

* If you found this solution helpful, please rate 4 thumbs up and leave a small testimonial. :-)

Hi I have an LG

Hi

Error code IE on LG dishwasher means Inlet error. This error comes up when the Water Supply Tap is closed or Water Supply is shut off. If water supply is turned on then make sure that the Inlet Hose is not kinked and water Pressure is not low (should be above 10 psi). Next thing to check for is Water Inlet Valve, measure the electric resistance of Inlet Valve. (950-1300 ohms) Make sure the filter of Inlet Valve is not clogged.

Hope this helps... Please post back for further assistance.

ADJUST TENSION DOOR

Just below dish loading door there is a panel. Remove screws (if applicable) to find tension adjustment. Turn screw to the left to loosen or opposite lifting door open or closed untill happy with tension. Some washers have no adjustment, I suggest opening door fully and pulling out bottom load tray, loading and then top tray or rack, pushing top in first then bottom rack. Use a glass fry pan cover or fry pan for weight on door while filling soap. Good luck, best regards

My LG Dishwasher model LDF7811WW was getting

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Error FE in your Dishwasher indicates excessive water is supplied than the normal water level. If the dishwasher is overfilling it's
caused because of water-inlet valve going bad. This valve is usually at the bottom left or right of the dishwasher, behind the lower access panel. It's the device with the main water line from the house, a rubber tube to the dishwasher, and two wires attached to it. If the water-inlet valve is defective, you need to completely replace it. Please accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks

The bottom of the door is NOT ACTUALLY SEALED. if you use the wrong or too much soap this can happen. Unit level is important.

Top arm in dishwasher will NOT spin!

When you say the top arm does not spin, remember that the LG model x811 family has the Vario feature that alternates between routing the pumped water to the bottom arm and then the top arms alternately. So anytime the dishwasher is washing and rinsing, either the lower or upper arms will be spinning.

If the problem is not above, then the motor that drives the check valve may have failed (or the check valve is obstructed inside.)

Hope that helps. Please post back here with what you find, OK?

LG dishwasher always smells moldy

could be a very small leak with the hoses leading into the washer, there is insulation around the washer that is a breeding ground for mold. I would recommend you have someone with decent mechanical experience, doesn't need to be a plummer just someone who knows how to use tools, pull the washer out refit the hoses with new seals and replace the insulation. Also the vinegar does work to help clean your washer, it removes calcium and other mineral build ups throughout the washer.

LG Dishwasher LDF7811 Making Growling Noise

Recommendations:
-Switch to a brand name detergent powder - like Electrosol or Cascade and do not fill the dispenser cup full. You will notice the difference immediately.
-Remove the filter assembly one more time and inspect underneath with a flashlight. Look closely for debris and also inspect the impeller to look for damage and that it is spinning freely.
Reassemble and listen for the growling sound. It should not happen. If it continues, you may have a a failing wash motor / motor bearing.
Please report back what you find. OK?

Upper rack sprayers not working on LG ldf7811 dish washer

Check the pump out. Even though the Hose is and tubes are clear it does not necessarily mean that the pump is not pumping water to the top sprayer. One way you can do this is take off the upper spray tube and lay it in a glass or bowl and turn on your machine for a minute or so to get the water flowing if it flows then I would take off the spray assembly itself and make sure that there is no blockage on the bearing race
