It might be that the memory card is too big or too small - check the specs of the TV in your user manual. Have you tried switching it on using the remote control for your TV? It appears your TV is on standby mode and only the remote might do the trick to get it to fully power on. Post a feedback or update if this tip does not help you out.

Sounds like your cable is off or your not on chan 3 . Can you go to setup and find cable , air ect ? And see if that does anything ? Check all your coaz and hdmi and make sure they are tight as well

This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size.

Go to menu & choose settings. Change the zip code to all zeros. Then choose NO for all questions such as cable, VCR, DVD. This will disable guide plus from coming on when power is turned on.

After purchasing a "service remote" and then buying a new "Main Board-Analog" which didn't fix the problem, I spoke with tech support who then emailed me an "EPK" file. Basically the computer board inside the television needed to be updated since this whole digital conversion is happening.. However this incident has given me tremendous knowledge of what to do and how to troubleshoot and how to reset my own TV with all the hidden menus that you never knew you had. Don't be tricked into buying a mainboard or even paying a diagnostic fee. If your TV GUIDE screen goes blank and all you see is a small channel preview screen in the top left corner, chances are all you need is the EPK file update. I received the update file in my email, I downloaded it to an SD card, inserted the SD card into my 32LX1D LG LCD TV and it did the rest. It was too easy. Most newer LG TV's are coming with a "SERVICE USB" so you can attach a "jumpdrive" or some other storage to it. These so called "Authorized Service Centers" are a hoax. WHen you bring your TV into them they charge you a "diagnostic fee" ranging from $50-$150 just to diagnose it, then they tell you that that can also be applied to the cost of the repair. All the service center does is call a special priviledged tech support 800# for LG to find out what to do. I've replaced and removed my own Main board. You gotta learn the game people, its all a big game to keep the revenue coming long after the sale of the TV. Which is why nowadays automobiles are manufactured with parts that were made to break intentionally to keep bringing you back.

Continuous blinking indicates that the power source has encountered a massive short and it has been shut down in emergency mode by its own safety system. The blinking is continuous because the processor of the tv is no longer powered so it can't detect what failed and issue the appropriate error code thru the status light.
The tv must be opened and the power board tested to identify which of its output rails is shorted ; then that rail will have to be followed and all the boards powered by it tested to identify the failed one. That is a job for someone with a good electronics experience so you must call a certified repairman (or take the tv to a repair shop - cheaper this way).
In the mean time keep the tv unplugged from the mains - the longer you keep it powered the larger the damage becomes.

HI,remove your HDMI cable from the Cable box, replace it with Component Cables. Do not use HDMI with Cable.
Normally if everything is green using component cables it would be because the Red/Blue cables are not fully inserted somewhere either on the display or on the source device. But since when you turn it on, with no source connected at all and it is green it sounds like it is a defective TV.

TVs in the world and here is another fine example of there quality work. This is a firmware problem that the LG engineers should know about. Contact LG and inform them of this problem. Maybe they already have a firmware update for your TV, if not, then they need to start work on this issue.

Hi, i think the problem is the back light(of the panel) and if it's dead then you're done with the TV. There is 10% chance that it could have happend. This set uses two inverter boards. Check the supply 3.3V and 12V to the D board. The inverter boards need to be checked and most possibly require replacement. The inverter is the power supply for backlight just like a ballast is for a lamp in DLP TVs. LG LCDs use good inverters and back light in comparison to Samsung. Usually a bad transformer in the board causes this to happen. I wish I had some easy fix. Fixing it would cost you around $150(DIY).

If you have forget the parential passcode key in [7777] on the remote control. Your LG TV will be unlocked. After unlock, you have to reset with an other passcode. OK.

It needs a new video circuit board.
