Power supply switching regulator board inside your LG TV is faulty. There are more than 8 regulated supply rails emerges from that board, after switching regulation, which will enter to different sections of circuits in your Tv. one or tw of its output voltages are missing now, in which, voltage to sound card also will includes. In most cases, this section is replaced as card basis, rather than making "surgery" to it. Clicking noice you hear along with this is a clear indication that there is something short on that board. It will be difficult, even a trained technician to locate and rectify the fault on that board, because, most of the components on it is machine soldered, and cannot be desoldered or resoldered by normal soldereing techeniques. Moreover, some of the components in it are not easly available on open electronic spare part shops, as LG has some special transformeres of their own, which they won't deliver to the open market. So in my opinion, it is best to replace the card itslef with same type and number, Type and number will be printed on the card and can be noted. You must have testing equpments like, a good quality digital multimeter, soldering Iron, desoldering pump and the most is sound knoledge in digital electronics and enough patience. After replacement of the power board, there will have to do some adjustements, [service adjustments] to get the picture well defined.

easywaylamps its about $130.00 bucks shiped. bad news about is that thay are from china(it is where i got mine) but it works great and hasent gave me a broblem yet. if any one eles has the same problem and it was something eles....
