Does your office use a PBX system where you have to dial a 9 before gaining access to outside line. Are you using one touch buttons do they have the 9 included. Is the machine connected to a analog phone line not a digital line has to old POT line not a digital. Using a two line phone line? take the line from the wall look at the connector do you see four wires or two at the connector green, yellow, black and red. If so get only a two wire cable. Do you have EMI collar on the phone line? Check the line with a old "Princess Phone" from radio shack.. Move the copier to a different wall outlet. lapse of a given period of time after the lifting
motion has been started.
Basically your paper tray 2 did not lift right. Open the tray and make sure the paper is loaded correctly. The paper should be touched on all four sides by the tray or by adjustable guides. Open and close the front door with the tray out. Once the machine is ready to copy close the drawer you should hear a slight buzzing sound as the tray rises. If you don't or you hear a banging or grinding sound the tray lift motor may be damaged and you will need to call a service technician.
If the code keeps coming back pull out tray 2, open and close the front door to reset and leave the tray 2 partially pulled out until a technician can repair.

Sounds like a bad NVRAM board. When it goes bad it resets everything.

the file type is set to single page
1.press the scan button on the control panel
2.select scan setting.
3.select file type.
4.select multi page to have the entire scan to be sent as a single file.
if you are sending jpegs they can only be sent as single page files on this machine. only pdf's and tiffs can be sent as multi page files

This means that the fuser is not hot enough. IT could be the heater which in this model is a light. Check to see if it is coming on. IT could also be a sensor. If it is the sensor, you need to have a tech come out and service it.
